Victorian velvet on wood wall pocket with working thermometer
This piece is one you don't see very often and is very Victorian. The front is 5 3/8" by 7" and is a piece of wood covered in red velvet. The velvet is somewhat faded and the pile is pretty much gone. But that is pretty common for pieces like this of this age. There is a brass flower in the center and the thermometer is angeled on top of the flower. The thermometer seems to work just fine. The top left corner is turned down with a piece of hammered brass showing. The pocket on the back is made from tin with a wood bottom and has a loop for hanging. I have found no marks or stamps, but the style of this piece pretty much speaks for itself. Thanks for looking! Thank you for viewing this item. This listing i s for 3 Steam Pressure Gauges and 1 Pocket Thermometer. We have not tested these gauges. We do not know if they work. Being sold as a collectors items only. The two gauges connected to the Kerotest Brass pipe fittings are USG/US Gauge Co brand. Part numbers 13032-1 and 12112-1. One appears to measure vacuum pressure- 100 lbs pressure max. The other measures up to 300 lbs pressure. We haven't removed these two USG gauges from their brass fitting because they seem to be on there really tightly. We'll let you try and remove. If you choose to do so. The Rego gauge in an LP gas pressure gauge measuring up to 30 lbs per square inch. Dial number 2411-U. Part number 15146-1(or it could be a capital"i" on the end instead of a 1) The last item is a fairly rare Marsh pocket thermometer. ... moreIt's showing 65 degrees. Which is about right for where I'm sitting now. We took it to a warmer area and it rose as well- not sure how accurate it is at all ranges, but it appears to be moving/working. Case is nice, but the inside dial appears to be dirty. Condition: One of the USG glass covers is cracked. The glass is still tight in the gauge case. So it won't come out easily.but, it is cracked. The Rego gauge's glass is chipped around the bottom half of the glass. Glass cover still nice, but edges are chipped. All 4 items have some minor cosmetic scratches on them. Overall.
