This heavy recorder is about seven inches in diameter and is hinged, with three wall- or table-mount screw holes in its bottom half. The bottom half holds the sensor and the mechanism for the pen that marks the measured parameter, which might be temperature or humidity, charting the result on a replaceable round paper chart held in the upper half.
