The temperature range is from 0'F to 220'F. That temperature is good for every thing from making cheese. Pasteurizing pretty much anything, distillation of alcohol, fermentation of beer. Just about anything you can do in the food and drink industry. This thermometer has a probe that is about 9 inches long. The last 2 inches of probe do the temperature reading.
