This is a Rare Antique Singer 29-4 Cobbler's Leather Treadle Sewing Machine. Serial number B1122711 dates this machine to June 7. 1905. This is one of only 2,800 machines produced that year. This machine has been serviced and is 100% functional! All screws and parts turn and rotate with ease! This machine has been cleaned and properly oiled. It sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I tested it on a leather riding boot. It stitched through a thick section of the boot with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is video of this actual machine working. The end of the video shows a close up of it sewing so you can see it create the stitch and the walking foot in action. The body is solid. THOMPSON PW 400 INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH Sewing Machine WALKING FOOT
We used this machine to sew two boat covers and its been it the closet for about a year. I took to a local shop and everything is working the way it should. It has always been oiled before and after each use. One thing about these machines is the thread tension-er, when using THICK thread it takes a little time to get it set just right but once you have it, its runs great. It pulls the fabric better than any machine I have every run. Even better than those computer models. One last thing is if you keep it oiled there is not much to go wrong with this machine, its built like a tank. Its easy to move and the flip back case makes it easy to use. There is one small crack at the top of the cover case but it doesn't affect anything. Ships USA ONLY

It is still in really good condition because it was never used commercially but instead was used in someones home to sew teddy bears and so it is still in very good to great condition. There is a dent in the lightbulb housing. It does not affect anything. It runs great and it comes with the original manuals. When disassembled it can easily fit into a mid-sized car. Cash on Pickup.
