Condition of the Singer 301 Sewing Machine The machine’s serial number NA488667 indicates that it was manufactured in 1951. Externally. The machine is in great condition. Internally, the machine has has been fully restored to be your next sewing workhorse(details ... morebelow) There are only a few sellers on ebay that restore machines to this extent. Keep in mind. This machine is over 60 years old, and will show minor wear appropriate for a machine of that age, even if not evident in the pictures. With that said, the original speckle tan finish is in very good/excellent condition and has been polished and buffed to a luxurious shine. SINGER Antique Sewing Machine Cast Iron Treadle Base. It is in Excellent. Clean Condition. It is in Great Shape, no rust or breaks. It was Professionally Cleaned and Painted with a Satin Gloss Black Enamel. The Paint prevents the Wheel from Turning, but with a little work, I'm sure it would spin freely. Great Table Base, I've seen them finished with Oak or Marble Tops and they really have a Nice Look. Piece measures measures 28.5" tall x 23.25" wide x 18.25" deep. Top of piece has 4 holes to attach a table top. The measurements from hole to hole from the hole centers are 22" long x 11" wide. I'm thinking I can pack this and get it boxed and shipped with Greyhound. Materials probably cost about $10 and another $65-85 to ship it depending on where you live. A nice Singer Manufacturer pedal sewing machine base. Base is in excellent shape with light rust. No deep rust or rust damage. May need reprinting depending on your intended usage. The wooden connector between the pedal base and the pulley wheel is intact and sound. Has what I believe is original paint which has peeled away in most places. The side panels say Patented April 15. 1879. The middle cross support says Patented Feb. 17, 1880. Found the serial number on the machine that was attached to the original wooden cabinet attached to the legs. Serial number is#5383555. This number is registered to a machine manufactured in 1882. I can supply the link where I found the date info if you contact me. This is an original old set of treadle legs before the Singer logo was cast into the cross bridge. For sale is My singer industrial sewing machine it is a 211W151. This has no reverse but I haven't been able to undo a seem where it starts, from what I can tell it is a lock stitch type machine, it includes 3 feet, one is a cording foot that I used quite a bit and it worked very nice. Comes complete ready to sew, it has a 1/2hp clutch motor that works smooth and quiet, it takes a bit to get used to but the speed is quite controllable, from slow to crazy fast, this machine flies. I bought it cleaned it up really good, oiled it and used it to sew some car seats and some kitchen chair seats. worked very good. The nice thing about this machine is that it can handle a heavy thread to make for not only a tight seam but a very strong seam that won't loosen. What can it handle, I was able to squeeze eight layers of denim under the foot and ... moreit I don't think it even knew it. Really a nice machine, but I just don't have the room to keep it. The table works just fine but is a bit worn as you can see from the pictures, the machine has been used but seems to me to be tight and it does work nice. Antique Singer chain stitch machine. 24 class, actually 24-39. Built 1904. Serial# B1206054. Purchased around 1910 for commercial use. Used industrially in the family NY garment center factory from 1919 until 1961. In the factory it was on a treadle base. And later electrified by a motor on the base. Has belt wheels. Later a hand crank was added for a specific job. It was further altered around 1919 for use in the shoe industry-part of the original base was cut away to create today's shape. the crank/wheel turns freely, needle bar moves well. Presser foot bar works, but I do not guarantee the the machine is in perfect working condition. The entire base plate was changed in 1919/1920 to the current larger work surface. From 1961 until a few months ago it was stored in a basement. Made in America late 1950's to early 1960's. This is the more deluxe version of Singer/Bevco chairs that swivels and has backrest with adjustable height. Very good vintage condition. Springs on backrest are intact and strong(backrest swivels up/down to contour to your back) Sturdy chair that was built to last. Backrest also adjusts horizontally by loosening round knob under seat. Can be used with or without backrest. Leg tips are intact. Seat height adjusts from about 16" to 20" at mid seat. Seat is 16" across and 14" front to back. Legs are 21" apart. The bed measaures almost 19" x 7" too large for my motor base so it has not been run under power by me. New throat plate, needle clamp and spool pin. Serial number ak795* dates this to 1952.
