Vintage Singer 241-12 Industrial Sewing Machine
For sale is a vintage Singer 241-12 Industrial Sewing Machine. This was hooked up in a sewing table with 3 phase motor and still had oil in the pan when I got it. I believe it was in use until the last year or so. Unfortunately I mo longer have the oil pan it would sit in. The auction is for the Machine/Machine Head Only as pictured. Has one attachment hooked up to it as pictured. Machine may have been repainted at some point? Singer" is barely visible at the top(see pic 6) The model tag above the singer medallion has some damage. Is missing the end of the tag and is only held to the machine in one spot(pic 2) Machine is heavy(around 53 lbs before packaging) Will be packed in a double walled cardboard box with good packaging material. This is a Vintage Heavy Duty. Industrial Singer Sewing Machine, Model 327K. This Singer sews the perfect stitch through any material including leather, denim and thick cotton. It can sew the following stitches: straight, zig-zag and it can even sew in reverse. It does have a light socket on the machine which has NOT been tested. There is no bulb so it will need to be replaced if you want to use that feature. The condition of this machine is very good but it does show normal wear including paint chips, minor dings, dents, etc. When this machine is plugged in it purrs and everything works as it should. Super Rare 1951 Centennial Singer 708 Industrial trimmer
I have updated the listing with some new information in red. I asked for any info about this type of machine and another Ebayer contacted me to tell me that this is a Singer trimmer machine. Not sewing machine. Any further info would be awesome. I am also open to offers. Just email me and I will get back with you. Thanks Singer Trimmer serial number is AK463122. According to singersewingmachine.com the machine is a 706 class. It was made in a batch of 300 on June 14. 1951 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. According to Singer production numbers there were only 300 of these made in 1951. Compare that to 150,000 of the 221 Featherweights made the same year. I think that alone makes this machine rare. I researched further and checked through other years for production numbers. The only other class 706 machines that I could find was a batch of 100 in ... more1958 with serial numbers starting with"AM" I don't know if this batch was the same machines as made in 1951, seven years before, but even if they were that would mean only 400 at the most made(that I could find) Singer made hundreds of thousands of machines over the years and to find one that was made in such small numbers makes it a super rare machine, at least in my opinion. If anyone can find more evidence of production of these class of machines, please let me know. They resemble the 81 class and I thought maybe they re-named the 81's to 706 class, but they made 81's in 1951, so it doesn't make since that they would make both in the same year. Another thing is the size. I haven't seen one this small before(I took a pic with a can of soda to give a good idea of the size) It's quite small, but still pretty heavy for such a little machine. I would estimate 15-20 pounds. I wouldn't think it was a miniature, but I am not absolutely sure. I bought this at an estate auction. At this auction, they had a collection of more than 60 sewing machines that was owned by one collector. They had 5 or 6 normal size sewing machines and this little 706. The

This is in barn find order. I have in the past had it as a door stop: I think it is a industrial one? I guess its a quite rare model as cant find one with this number on Ebay or the net. It has the number 94-2 below a copper manufacturing plate. It is sold as non working. I cant make it turn. It has wear and some rust but hopefully of interest to a collector and with a bit of work and oil hopefully can be made to work again. Even though its quite small at approx 11" x 11" its still very heavy. It may have parts off, I don't know? It is in outstanding working condition and just as nice to look at. The wheel actually moves effortlessly. The machine has been completely cleaned and oiled. The wood case is in perfect working order, easy to open with original key and looks pretty close to new. Even the bottom compartment is spotless. It does have 2 blemishes in the finish and it would not be right if I did not mention them. VINTAGE WORKING SINGER 72W19 HEMSTITCH, HEMSTITCHER INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE
For Auction: Singer 72W19 Hemstitch sewing machine. Serial number W206931. From what I can determine from the Singer website. This machine was manufactured sometime around 1911. The Singer 72W19 is known as of straight away feed construction and has pierces and double needle actuating device. The stitch is known as the overedge hemstitch. Having each side of the opening overseamed. the piercer divides the cross threads and the stitches collect and hold them in the form of bars or spokes, leaving the clear openings in hemstitch work for which this machine is famous. This is a beautiful machine on it's original table and drawer and working 110 Singer motor. Also included with the machine were misc. items found in the drawer including: the original owners manual(very delicate. Pages are falling out) a receipt for a repair done in 1945, old ... moretweezers. And a vintage box of wooden thread spools. There appears to be a wooden insert missing from the table top. Which would not be difficult to replicate. Also, a couple of the screws that hold the cast iron base to the wooden top aren't original. Other than that, this machine appears to be all original. Machine was lightly cleaned and oiled, and a new belt was installed before testing. It sews beautifully(see sample, which is included) This is a great find for a collector or for someone who wants to put it back in use. Power cord and plug appear to be original and will need to be replaced. Please look at all photos closely as they are an important part of the item description. Rare 1913 Singer 78-1 Early Electric Industrial Conversion. Works Well
Here We Have; 1) Singer industrial canvas/ leather sewing machine. Fresh Farm Find in need of cleaning and probably adjustments. Apparently it was originally a pedal type machine and had been converted to an electric(way back when) The pedal unit actually works as a speed control. Oak butcher block style table.
