SINGER INDUSTRIAL 30" LONG ARM - MODEL 144WSV38 - WALKING FOOT W/REVERSE
OFFERED FOR SALE IS A SINGER INDUSTRIAL MODEL 144WSV38 30" LONG ARM SEWING MACHINE S/N 185172 This machine was owned since new by the U.S.Air Force at Offut AFB. Omaha, Nebraska. When I purchased it there was no table top included since it had been built into a very large table for handling large bulky fabric items such as tarps& parachutes. With the help of a local cabinet shop I made a table top from 2" thick butcher block solid maple and finished it with 2 coats of urethane varnish. In preparing it for sale on 9/22/14 I was fortunate to find a service shop in the Omaha area whose technician happened to be the same person who serviced this machine at Offut AFB over a number of years. He did a thorough inspection. Oiling, reset the timing, stitch length, other adjustments and test sewed the sample shown in the photos through ... moreup to 10 layers of vinyl upholstery material. He also stated that this machine is in excellent condition with no problems due to mechanism wear and is somewhat unique since it has the reverse capability upgrade and a safety clutch to prevent machine damage from accidental jamming. His name and a copy of the work order will be furnished to the new owner. It also has the heavy duty bobbin winder mechanism. Included also is a copy of the operating instruction manual that references all the oiling points and adjustments as well as a few extra needles. Extra bobbins are readily available for under $3.00 Buyer will pick up the machine at my warehouse here in Grand Island. NE and pay in full in cash. A hoist is available for loading and I will assist in partial disassembly if needed for transport. I am willing to wait for up to 30 days for pickup but no longer! If for some reason this doesn't work out, I can break it down, crate& pack it for shipment by motor freight collect for a reasonable additional cost which will have to be agreed to by the buyer. Vintage Singer Industrial Sewing Machine KEYHOLE 99w110 RARE
Okay vintage sewing guys. This is pretty much one of the rarest Singer Sewing machines out there. The Singer Sewing 99w110 Keyhole sewing machine. If you're into making suits. Denim jeans, coats etc, this is the one you've always wanted. Before the Reece 101, there was the Singer 99W. I bought this a few years ago but never got around to getting it going. It's been sitting in my garage and I think I'd rather use what I get for it on other machines. I believe the only thing missing is the front bottom cover. But that doesn't affect the sewing it's just the dust cover. It does come with the bottom transmission. Even rarer than the machine! Prefer local pick up as it's super heavy. 100# plus. And packing it up would be quite a job. I've not mounted the machine but have turned the wheels and parts move.

This one has the patented dates on center brace, embossed Patented Feb 17,1880, Oct,14, 1884 Mar 17, 1885. Also has The Singer Mfg Co NY on sides on legs. The treadle and wheel are working and spinning smoothly, all metal wheels move, there is some wear to bottom half of legs but has not been really cleaned yet only the dust brushed off. No cracks or breaks to iron. This will be shipped unassembled, it weighs 40 lbs before packing so please figure 48 lbs packaged. I will ship USPS parcel select or can be arranged for local pick up.

Here is quite a desirable industrial sewing machine. It's a single thread chain stitch machine perfect for difficult sewing jobs like hats, gloves, denim trim, ties, etc. The most impressive thing about this vintage machine is it's size. It's tiny, which makes it ideal for home use. The other machine pictured for size comparison is you standard size home model(that one is a Singer 27- not for sale) It is self oiling with direct drive mechanics- it's operation is simple and straight forward simply thread through the upper tensioning. Thread the needle and go. One of the tensioning pegs appears bent( the one on the far right) however it does not affect thread movement or tensioning. There are signs of age and wear commensurate with it's age and purpose. Though I don't think you'll find a cleaner one. this listing is for an: Restored 1929 Singer model 15-31 Commercial/ Industrial Sewing Machine. this machine sews leather as easily as it sews cotton fabric(see my sew tests in my pictures.3 layers of cotton and 6 layers of soft leather using a new#90 Viking flat sided needle.i sew tested it in a Singer treadle unit turning the hand wheel with just one finger inside the spokes.it's longest stitches are it's best stitches fwiw) this is a very strong sturdy smoothly operating machine now. to operate/use it properly. It will need to be placed in a sewing cabinet or sewing machine table. the set screws for these table hinges are on this machine. it can be powered by a treadle or a motor. a screw opening for a motor mount is below the large hand wheel. i do not think there are many of these machines around anymore. it's a model 15 ... moresize, but it's built stronger and better imo. it's an all steel, cast iron& metal machine. here's a good description on what i did to restore this machine: i replaced the needle plate and plate screws(the original plate is cracked near the needle hole.but since i could not find the exact replacement part. I bought a very similar new Singer plate and had to file the plate feed dog openings a little and the feed dog edges to make it all work well with this machine.the original plate is included in this listing) added a new needle& spool pin felt, i touched-up remaining SINGER decals and the 2 OIL decals, touched-up the black paint, then re-painted the entire machine's black paint areas(including the hand wheel/balance wheel, the sewing head cover, the presser foot knee bar lever, rear plate cover& the metal part that covers the bobbin area.then i clear coated all of these part& areas except the underside.all parts were removed(except the upper shaft and a few part attached to it) cleaned, polished, restored, adjusted& serviced.and i sew tested and adjusted the stitches(while i adjusted many parts on the machine) until the quality was excellent. w

this listing is for an: Uncommon Restored 1929 Singer model 15-31 Commercial/ Industrial(Heavy Duty) Sewing Machine. this machine sews leather as easily as it sews cotton fabric(see my sew tests in my pictures.3 layers of cotton and 6 layers of soft leather using a new#90 Viking flat sided needle.i sew tested it in a Singer treadle unit turning the hand wheel with just one finger inside the spokes.it's longest stitches are it's best stitches fwiw) this is a very strong sturdy smoothly operating machine now. to operate/use it properly. It will need to be placed in a sewing cabinet or sewing machine table. the set screws for these table hinges are on this machine. it can be powered by a treadle or a motor. a screw opening for a motor mount is below the large hand wheel. i do not think there are many of these machines around anymore. ... moreit's a model 15 size, but it's built stronger and better. it's an all steel, cast iron& metal machine. here's a good description on what i did to restore this machine: i replaced the needle plate and plate screws(the original plate is cracked near the needle hole.but since i could not find the exact replacement part. I bought a very similar new Singer plate and had to file the plate feed dog openings a little and the feed dog edges to make it all work well with this machine.the original plate is included in this listing) added a new needle& spool pin felt, i touched-up remaining SINGER decals and the 2 OIL decals, touched-up the black paint, then re-painted the entire machine's black paint areas(including the hand wheel/balance wheel, the sewing head cover, the presser foot knee bar lever, rear plate cover& the metal part that covers the bobbin area.then i clear coated all of these part& areas except the underside.all parts were removed(except the upper shaft and a few part attached to it) cleaned, polished, restored, adjusted& serviced.and i sew tested and adjusted the stitches(while i adjusted many parts on the machine) until the quality

It's freshly lubricated in all the right places, getting those spots that are not obvious to the average consumer, and we test the machines to make sure that they are sewing at their best on many different fabrics. Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Base Side Legs Industrial Steampunk ~ Bling!!!
Hello- here we have 2 side legs from a Singer Sewing Machine- specifically- a 1913 treadle machine. These babies are heavy- 11- 12 pounds EACH(if my bathroom scale is correct) Cast iron is heavy. They are in extra fine used condition. I put a wire brush attachment on my electric drill and knocked off all the rust and old paint. Then. A few sessions with the garden hose. Then, spray paint- both sides- twice. I then put detail"gold" paint on Singer emblem. Spray down(twice) with clear polyurethane. The result is a real nice set of cast iron legs for your project. They measure 28.5 inches in height. 18.75 inches wide at the base, 12.17 inches wide at the top, and about 0.75 inches deep. The Singer logo is the highlight- with a bobbin. Shuttle and"SINGER" and"TRADE MARK" very proudly displayed. This set has the casters(wheels) ... moreand- they turn freely which is nice if you are building a table. Also- check out item 141412250204- this is the center bracket(brace) that you may want to provide lateral stability on your table. This is a Singer 7-31 Extreme heavy-duty industrial machine. Most 7-31 machines have the clutch wheel replaced to essentially make it a 7-33. The machine sews well(the 9/16" thick webbing in the photo was sewn with the hand wheel just before the photos were taken) The head will include the home-built table in the pictures atop a standard stand. The unit includes many extra needles. An extra hook(pictured) several bobbins, additional presser feet, 12 large spools of upholstery thread, the motor, and the reduction pulley unit. Here is a true. Heavy duty, industrial, chain stitch, sewing machine. A Singer 240 k 13 made in Great Britain. Used in an old glove factory, until it closed. It is truly a mighty mite- you'll notice the six inch ruler in the picture. It is easily half the size of a regular home model sewing machine. It's convenient size makes it easier to mount and move. You can check out the other one of these we have in an auction listing, which is pictured next to an antique Singer for size comparison) These machines are designed to make one type of stitch. A Chain-Stitch(pictured) and to do it well! It's simplicity is it's strong point. Fewer moving parts. They are unique as they use only one top thread- no bottom bobbin. Just a simple well timed looping shuttle beneath which grabs the needle thread as it travels through the fabric to ... moremake the stitch. This is also a self oiling machine. Meaning you fill the body with oil and it cares for it's own moving parts, the oil level is seen through the glass indicator(pictured) Now, this one is in good used condition with minor signs of age and wear, it has been well cleaned and oiled in the cleaning process but it will need to be oiled and filled when you receive it, as we can not send it full and dripping of oil in the mail. As an industrial/ factory model sewing machine it is capable of sewing just about anything you can throw at it with the proper thread and thread tensioning. This is a belt driven machine. Which means it needs a horizontal shaft motor with a pulley, to run- these can vary somewhat in size, in proportion to the jobs you are likely to be doing. The motor can be mounted below or above a table and connected to a variable speed foot pedal, or, on an actual industrial table there is a pedal that disengages the motor pulley from the belt but that takes it's own kind of motor. Vintage Singer Long Arm Industrial sewing machine 144 A 204 new motor nice!
This is a beautiful old Singer industrial Long Arm sewing machine. It was used in the military and still has some stickers on it. Model# 144 A 204 with about a 20" throat. Over stitch, compound feed. It is a true walking foot machine with reverse and brake. The original operating table sports the original control pedals. The pedals are from left to right: reverse, speed control, and foot lift. This machine comes with a nice large table on casters so it can be moved, which is nice because it is heavy. It comes with a new digital servo motor for precise speed control and speed reduction pulleys and also needles and bobbins. I used it for upholstery but have no more need for it.The original model 144 was built in the 1930's or 40's- don't know when this one was built but it is bullet proof and should last another 2 or 3 hundred ... moreyears. Keep in mind the head alone weighs about 200 lbs and the table maybe another 100 lbs or so. I'm going to offer this as a local pickup sale item however if you would like to arrange freight pickup and palleting, I could be persuaded to ship it off. Either way we have a fork lift to load it. Thanks for looking. Firstly to talk about the case. There is no key so the outer case cannot shut properly. There is signs of wear on the case. The sewing machine power pack has old wiring and when I tested this old wiring the machine came on permanently. I assume this needs to be either stripped down. Cleaned and rewired or replaced. So I borrowed a power pack from the other machine I have to test. It was running fine until I broke the rubber drive belt. Easily replaced and readily available) Lamp works and the tools pictured are included. Has had definate use and signs of wear and weighs a ton so collection is preferred but I will courier if necessary.
