Used Singer 107w1 industrial zig zag sewing machine head. 1/8 inch max zig zag width. Machine is missing the pressure foot.The bobbin case, the bobbin, and the bobbin cover plate. All of these parts can be purchased from Universal sewing supply, the web site is hard to navigate, i would give them a call, they have great customer service. The sewing machine is in working condition, but it will need to be properly adjusted/tensioned, the timing appears to be good. I cleaned and then heavily lubricated the machine, everything moves freely with no binding or grinding, although there is some wear on the gears in the top shaft, it looks like it was improperly lubricated at some point, but everything functions accordingly. The bed looks like it has been repainted and is now silver.

The philosophy at that time was to make very long lasting quality products and it shows as it is still working as great as when it left the factory, 60 years ago! This jewel of a machine is what you need for heavy work! Paint on the bed of the machine shows some wear and all decals are preserved at about 85% I painted the chips to protect it of further damage. Overall. This is a great looking machine but most importantly, it runs like new! It has been totally overhauled including New Heavy Duty Power Cord. New 1.5 Amps Motor, Rewired Refurbished Singer Lamp and a New 3 Amps Electronic Foot Controller. Foot controllers amperage needs to be rated at least 1.5 times than the motor amperage for it to last, otherwise it will burn fast! Electronic foot controllers gives even power and speed to the motor and does not generate heat compared to carbon or heater element foot controller. Description Offered is a little industrial Singer chain stitch sewing machine born in(1897) It is a model 24-7 or 24-5 with a serial# 14545293 and has been used in the Tucan Hat factory of Kingston NY as one of many chain stitch machines. It was moved from a Brooklin factory about 30 yrs. ago. This little machine head is being offered for parts. It is slated for caps and similar articles(for general stitching) Clearance under presser foot 1/4" Plain tension. 4-12 stitches to the inch, and Speed 2000 spm. It has a chrome table plate with chrome tarnish. It has a slotted foot. This machine could be operated by hand crank, treadle, or using a motor. There is both chrome and paint worn away from over 115 year of use. The serial# is engraved in the casting.The logo plate is slightly bent, and the model plate is missing as is the stitch length ... moreindicator plate but does not effect the use of the machine. It is missing its needle screw and presser foot screw. Has a broken rear thread tensioner and missing front thread guide. The thread length adjuster is working but missing the end of its handle. The rotating hook is fine. It does make stitches when I substituted parts off another machine. I have several other of these machines both single and double needle and do not need this one. I am selling it as is for parts with no garentees. The machines of this time were induvidually hand constructed. It has been recently cleaned and oiled, Pick-up is offered. Hello. Up for consideration here is a drawer that I removed from a singer industrial sewing machine that I sold the head seperately. Included in this sale is the content of the the drawer. I am not an expert with sewing machines. But, it looks like i have 7 bobbins, 5 shuttle bobbins and 2 cases that these bobbins fit into, 1 roll of green thread on the industrial spool. I have the drawer from the industrial table with the 2 cast iron mountings that the drawer slides into with the 4 original screws. You are bidding on an industrial model 31-15 Singer sewing machine with a serial number that starts with AL66. the rest of the number is unreadable. This was working when it was stored in my basement 15 or so years ago but I have no idea if it's usable today. This includes the stand and the table. There is rust on various parts of the stand and sewing machine head. This includes the light and the thread holder. The wooden table has many cigarettes burns on the top. On the back edge. 1900 Antique Industrial Singer Sewing Machine: Model 31-15, Sews Leather Easily
i was a Viking certified repair technician for their sewing machines. Sergers and quilting machines. i repaired all brands and ages of sewing machines for ~ 4 yrs(then my mother sold her business in April 2011) i probably repaired& tuned-up 1,000 machines or more. This auction/listing is for an: Antique Industrial Singer Sewing Machine: Model 31-15 that was manufactured in the year 1900. this machine sews well and sews leather very easily(by just turning the very smoothly operating hand-wheel. As i did for my leather sew test examples shown in my pictures) i've cleaned, oiled, adjusted(this machine is set-up to sew leather presently.it sews regular fabrics too.just change the needle, adjust the tensions and presser foot pressure if needed) when beginning to sew with this machine, keep the threads pulled toward the back of the machine(under ... morethe presser foot) and also angled toward the right. once the tensions are good(for me, a rather lose bobbin tension and a tighter upper tension worked best) and the initial stitches are set and good, this machine sews very well. i used Maxi-Lock 100% polyester serger thread for my sew tests on leather that are shown here. these threads were strong and worked well. i hand-wound the bobbin i used and the thread on the spool. here i will re-post what i posted above about this machine: there's no instruction manual.there's visible wear to the machine's original black paint(looks like it was repainted around the sewing area)there's no upper tension disc release pin.i added a strong wire to hold the check spring in place.the needle plate, the first thread guide, the leather hand-wheel belt and the presser foot are from another model 31-15 machine(made in 1926.the belt looks like a treadle belt so it may be from this 1900 machine's period or earlier) that i'm also working on now. seems like about 60-70% of the original decorative design and lettering still remains on this machine's exterior. this machine is available for local pick-up only. it's

This is a great set of antique cast iron legs for anything you can think of they are super clean 28 1/8 inches tall and 11 3/4 wide at top and 18 1/2 wide at bottom. These came from a treadle sewing machine and there just aren't many of these left and repurposing them for a table base or what ever you can think of will be a great project. This machine is over 60 years old, and will show minor wear appropriate for a machine of that age, even if not evident in the pictures. With that said, the original speckle tan finish is in very good/excellent condition and has been polished and buffed to a luxurious shine.
