Magnifier glass measures about 5 inches in diameter. Circular bulb is a GE and is in good working condition. Has cord to plug into wall. Button must be pushed in until light comes on and then released. I believe this is typical of these types of lights. Base is not included but one could easily be made for this magnifier. Singer 29-4 Leather Patcher Treadle Sewing Machine, Industrial Cylinder Arm
For auction: Singer 29-4 industrial cylinder arm treadle sewing machine. This machine was designed for leather patching. Shoe repair, and harness making. Singer serial number: G4200601. This particular machine was manufactured in 1915, according to the Singer database. These machines were incredibly well made and are still highly sought after by cobblers, harness makers, leather patch sewers, etc. This machine is treadle style(with a working belt) but can also be sewn with by hand, using the wheel for slower stitches. This Machine also includes what I believe to be an original/rare, wooden hinged table for sewing items on a flat surface. The table top is in good condition for it's age and appears to have all it's parts intact. As with most machines of this age, there is the normal age-related wear and surface rust in places but it ... moreis in good working order, has been cleaned and oiled throughout, tested, and still sews a perfect stitch(see photos) Belt is old and will need to be replaced but it does still work/sew. Singer long arm 29k commercial sewing machine heavy duty industrial hand crank
I have lots of other machines and parts listed and more on the way. This is a great vintage Singer industrial machine it can be used by hand crank or hook it up to a treadle or even to a motor. It still works and everything moves smoothly. This one is in very nice shape for its age and still looks good cosmetically as well as working. These are hard to find quite collectible now and one routinely bring 750 to 1000. I will sell the industrial base this would have been mounted to separately. This is heavy as you can imagine so shipping will be to the lower 48 states only and it will be well packed. Antique Metal Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Pitman Arm 1900's to 1920's + Screw
This is an Antique Metal Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Pitman Arm. This is the part that connects the treadle pedal to the flywheel. It is from a 1900's to 1920's Singer sewing machine base. The bearings are good and the entire part is straight. The paint is a little dirty and the metal arm is discolored. The upper piece inserts into a 12" flywheel and the lower into the hole on the outer right corner of the pedal. When inserting the lower piece. Do not screw it too tight as this will not allow the ball to pivot. Put a little oil or grease on the bottom ball and screw the cup in until there is no play, then tighten the outer nut. If your upper bearings are good just remove the rod from this assembly and screw it into your bearings. It measures 12-3/8" from the top of the bearings to the bottom of the ball nut. Antique Wood Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Short 14" Pitman Arm 1884 to 1900s
This is an Antique Wood Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Pitman Arm. This is the part that connects the treadle pedal to the flywheel. It is typically found on bases that hold Singer sewing machine models 15. 27, 66 and VS2 that date from the 1890's to 1900's. This part is stamped" Patented May 18. 1884" It has a dark antique finish. There are no cracks or splits and it is not warped. To install. You have to remove the screw on one end and pop out the two inner pieces. Insert this over the twisted part of the rod and reinstall the removed pieces. Do not screw it too tight as this will not allow the flywheel to spin freely. I have also made this video showing how to install this if you need additional help. Remove the pin and washer on the foot pedal and slide the slightly loosen end over the rod. Again tighten the screw, but ... morenot too tight. I have made a video showing how to install this part: It measures 10-7/8" between holes measures at the centers. It is 14-1/4" long and 7/16" thick. Please note there are two different size pitman arms. This is the shorter version for the newer machines. The older versions are longer. To measure the size you need; rotate your flywheel so the loop is at its furthest point from the foot pedal. Then raise your foot pedal so the front edge is about 1 inch from the floor. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing machine 14" Pittman Arm 1899 Patented 1888
This Antique Singer Treadle Sewing machine Pittman Arm 1899 has been gently restored. The foot pedal. Dress guard and fly wheel to this machine are also for sale. If you are interested feel free to suggest a reasonable bundle offer.What does gently restored mean? The overall objective is to preserve as much as the old tool or item with its lifetime patina as possible without the use of power tools. Metal is typically initially cleaned using mineral oil, or a weak solution of washing soda and water and if necessary brief electrolysis to remove and or convert rust to black oxide. Whichever method is best, a scotch brite plastic cleaning pad is used with water so the underlying metal is not damaged. A heat gun is immediately used to blow dry and eliminate moisture which is followed by a hand rubbed coat of mineral oil. After letting the oil“soak ... morein” for a day or so, the item is wiped cleaned then hand rub in bees wax to seal it. A weak solution of oil soap and water is used to remove grime, old oils and dirt from wood which is air or blowed dry with a heat gun. This is followed by a hand rub of“feed and wax" Normally all other materials are simply wiped clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth as appropriate. If the situation requires it, a soft brass bristle brush or“0000” steel wool is used occasionally. A couple of items should be noted. The first is this gentle process may not remove all rust or dirt, etc, as there is always a balance of limiting restoration to not affect patina. The second is that tools and items are not conditioned for use such as sharpening, tightening or replacement of parts. This is left up to the judgement of the new owner as there is a large range of utilization of older tools. Lastly, the item may have residual oil left in the cleaning process. This can be wiped off but the item may benefit from an additional application of clear oil to further enhance and stabilize the item for extended life. This is a hobby with the enjoyment of knowing these items might last generations with care.

This is a used Antique Cast Iron Minnesota Treadle Sewing Machine Flywheel with the original wood pitman arm. This flywheel is the part that connects to the treadle pedal. I have pictured how it looks installed. The pitman arm has no cracks or splits and it is not warped. It has some scuffs and scratches. The pitman arm measures 14" inches long and 9/16" thick. The holes are 12-1/2" apart at the centers. Each hole is 3/8" in diameter. The wheel is made of cast iron and measures 11-1/4" inches in diameter. 9/16" in width. The center hole measures 7/8" inches(inner diameter) on one side and 1/2" inches on the other side. The wheel has some surface rust. However is in really nice shape for its age. This is a Pair of Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Drawers. This style has the scrolled wood outer supports and a cast iron support arm for the extension leaf tables. It is from a Singer Treadle Sewing Machine from 1893 and is found with models 15. 27 and VS2. The frames and drawers are solid. They have a dark. Dry finish. The finish is flaked in some areas with wear. There are aged bumps, scratches, scuffs and dings. Some edges are rough on the frames. The backs and inside faces of the drawers are very dry. One drawer has veneer crack on the inside face. There are some mild cracks on the veneer on the drawer corners. All drawers have Singer bull ring pulls. Those all look aged. The extension leaf arm is in good condition. The insides of the drawers are dark and stained. Singer makes a couple different drawer heights. THERE IS SOME PEELING OF THE PLATING ON THE SLIDE PLATE.
