We used this machine to sew two boat covers and its been it the closet for about a year. I took to a local shop and everything is working the way it should. It has always been oiled before and after each use. One thing about these machines is the thread tension-er, when using THICK thread it takes a little time to get it set just right but once you have it, its runs great. It pulls the fabric better than any machine I have every run. Even better than those computer models. One last thing is if you keep it oiled there is not much to go wrong with this machine, its built like a tank. Its easy to move and the flip back case makes it easy to use.
