These 1960s White sewing machine models are all-steel geared, precision built, very powerful with its 1.3 amp motor, made to last a lifetime. This machine has attachments and comes with 15 decorative stitch cams. It's a strong straight stitch- zigzag with reverse feed sewing. The feed dog can be easily dropped for freehand sewing. Darning, silk and quilting. With this machine you can sew lightweight, medium& heavy weight fabrics, has stitch width and length knobs, will sew multiple layers of denim, vinyl and canvas, garment leather is no problem either. We are auctioning this Stradivaro Deluxe heavy duty sewing machine made in Japan in the 1960s. These 1960s Heavy Duty sewing machines are all-steel geared. Precision built, very powerful with its 1.2 amp motor, made to last a lifetime. It's a strong straight stitch- zigzag with reverse feed sewing. The feed dog can be easily dropped for freehand sewing. Darning, silk and quilting. With this machine you can sew lightweight, medium, heavy weight and extra heavy fabrics, has stitch length& width levers, will sew multiple layers of denim, Home or Marine upholstery and canvas, garment leather is no problem either. My sewed samples consist of 4 layers of leather and 4 layers of denim, sewed them with such ease and nice clean tight stitches it amazed me. It uses standard 15x1 needles. Also, I take off the faceplate, the gear cases, the hand-wheel, slide plate, bottom plate and the back access plate to clean the old oil and grease build up. I clean out the packed-in lint and dust, remove the thread-jams, inspect the hook and the needle plate, installed new belt and bulb. Industrial heavy duty Singer sewing machine. This machine is a lovely looking item and as everyone knows built to last many lifetimes! I am not going to pretend I know much about these machines but I have done a little research and I as far as I am aware it is capable of a variant of zig zag stitches all the way to a strong straight stitch, I have put plugged the machine in ad the motor and treadle/pedal control works beautifully I have also turned the machine by hand and the machine moves smoothly and fluidly and the needle seems to do what it built to do! Having said that I have been advised that these machines are like quality pianos and need to be serviced if they are transported so I would advise this is serviced by the recipient however I am sure whoever buys this machine knows what they are talking about and can probably do all those ... moretype of things themselves! This is a vintage classic Nelco R-1000 sewing machine. This is an amazing piece of history AND a fully functional sewing machine. Comes with original hard case. The hard case, and bottom case area still close with the original closures. Although they are no longer in perfect condition, by any means(this is a very old sewing machine, and it has been stored very well) The actual sewing machine itself is in pretty good condition considering it's age. This almost industrial Pfaff sewing machine still purrs right along like it did when it was first taken out of the box. With an all metal body this is a solid machine. Just oiled and checked over by a mechanic before being put up here for sale it has no problems and makes a beautiful stitch. Has metal extension table for a larger sewing area. The foot control, the carry case, and a nice little organizer to hold everything still within the carry case. Everything can be seen in the pictures. This is one of my favorite machines. I received this from my mom about 15 years ago. It is a great machine. I've sewn fleece rugs with this machine. I had this machine serviced regularly. When sewing a straight stitch this machine sews on the left. I don't know why. I tried to get it to sew in the middle but it would not. It does not seem to affect how it sews the different stitches that are built in. The stitches are consistent. The manual is included. The power cord and foot pedal cord are in good condition. The body of the machine is in excellent condition. I don't think there are any scratches or dings. It comes in a case which is also in great condition. This machine is heavy and it is heavy duty. Can sew multiple layers of fabric with no problem. When I made the fleece rugs I was sewing through ruffled fleece strips and ... morethe canvas backing without a problem. So it will last a very long time. Besides very few and very minor scuffs. As expected for its age, the machine is in excellent esthetic condition. It has many functions, among which is 5 Zig Zag width settings, 6 button hole settings, reverse, tension, stitch length, up and down, M&B, and many other settings and functions. Antique SINGER Sewing Machine, Model 29-4 Cobbler Leatherwork Heavy Duty
We have a Singer Sewing Machine Model 29-4 up for auction. This industrial quality sewing machine is fresh from a local estate. This heavy duty machine was popular for it’s dependable use in sewing light leather and cobbler or shoe making and repair. This model sewing machine is still used today for harness repair. Horse saddle work and light leather work. It’s a very sturdy and versatile machine with the needle being able to rotate in a 360 degree rotation. This machine has not been hooked up to power but with normal hand rotation of the wheel we can see the needle operating properly and the bobbin under that spinning like it should. The upper lever does move needle up an down as desired with another lever moving the needle around in a 360 degree fashion. The machine moves freely and appears to operate like it should but we have not hooked ... morethis up to a power source or stitched any leather of fabric with it. It would likely need a tune up. There is some paint loss evident in places in the black paint and some wear to the gold lettering in places from normal use over the years.
