Consew 226 Commercial Sewing Machine ( HEAD ONLY)
This is an older Consew 226 commercial sewing machine HEAD ONLY. No table or motor. This machine has a walking foot. And reverse and is identical to the Singer 111w machines. It is excellent for heavy sewing and upholstery. It comes with one set of feet. It was repainted and professionally cleaned and adjusted. But it is a used machine that has some hours on it. It sews very well. It was a spare machine in my shop and I no longer need it. It weighs about 80 pounds and I have packed it well in closed cell foam in a box within a box. So the shipping will be via UPS Ground and I expect that to cost about $60-$70 to most USA locations.

The hand lever on the back to keep the foot raised has snapped off. So the foot will only remain raised if you use the knee lever. The heads come from an excess that I have. CONSEW 206RB-2 Walking Foot- COMPOUND FEED- BIG BOBBIN- REVERSE- Head Only You can always tell the hours of use and condition of an industrial sewing machine by the amount of original paint that is still on the machine and the condition of the screw heads throughout. This one has but a minor loss of paint on the front edge of the head base and the screws look new. see photos) I have run the machine. Adjusted it to the nylon thread on hand and oiled all parts including the self oiling reserve visible in the under carriage photo. This is a very clean and great working Consew 206RB-2. This fine quality large bobbin machine was made in Japan. Not in China as the newer 206RB-5's. They do the same work with the major differences being the way you make the stitch adjustment and the way the reverse lever functions.
