MA quadrangle, and includes portions or all of the towns of Concord, Weston, Lincoln, Bedford, Wayland The largest and best-known topographic series produced by the United States Geological Survey is the 7.5-minute. 1:24,000 scale. Each of these maps covers an area bounded by two lines of latitude and two lines of longitude spaced 7.5 minutes apart. The overall size of the map is approximately 22x27 inches. Pretty Vintage West Virginia Glass Raised Bowl This nice bowl came from an estate collection. It is about 4" tall and about 5 3/4" across at the top. It has a silver toned rim that has some wear on it but its still in nice condition and pretty. It still has the base sticker marking it West Virginia Glass Weston WV. A nice older piece for a collector who knows the quality and hand work of the West Virginia glass industry. Sadly these pieces are becoming rare as China has taken the artisan glass industry from West Virginia and most shops have had to close their doors for good. Antique Weston Electrical Instrument gauge timer model# 271 (parking meter?)

It resembles a parking meter(although it was not originally intended for that purpose) The gauge has several scratches and missing paint but no noticable damage. I've had this meter in my collection since about 1970. In 1996 I wrote to the company that acquired Weston Instruments' portable line” asking for information about this meter. In reply. I received two photocopies of pages from the 1923 catalog. These photocopies may be seen in the photo gallery and will accompany the meter. In a recent search. I found Google has archived a scan of the 1920 periodical“Electrical World” Volume 76, Number 3) An ad for Weston Instruments appears on page 108. You can see the Model 14 in the lower left-hand corner. On the meter's face. It says“Res 251Ω” I measured the sensitivity of the unit at about 2 micro-amperes per division. This agrees with the catalog information that specifies the galvanometer with 250-ohm resistance has a sensitivity of 2x10-6 amperes per millimeter. I have a collection of wonderful Watermelon Stems most likely Weston Glass or Tiffin. They are very beautiful. The f irst 4 are matching. A diamond optic shimmer to them. The base glows very nicely. I find no damage of any kind except on the edge of one base there looks as if its a mold indentation or possibly a tiny less than 1/8 chip may have happened. But its filed. Meinl Weston 182 f tuba
This is a 6 year old Meinl Weston 182 f tuba. It is a 3/4 rotory valve horn with all five keys in the right hand. This horn has a dark Meinl sound. But with a little edge. The low range is rather easy to play and is pretty powerful. This is a fantastic solo horn and works extremely well for high range orchestral excerpts. The bell had a crease rolled out that has left a scar in the lacquer(shown in pic) and has a couple of dents on the side of the horn, with a couple of pings on one of the back slides, all in close proximity(all shown in one pic) Otherwise the horn has very few scratches and small pings and is in excellent condition. I am including a black, vinyl gig bag that has an extra padding insert for more protection. I am unsure of the brand.

Antique WESTINGHOUSE WESTON AMMETER Circa 1888
Antique Ammeter measures electrical current in amperes. This handsome. Particularly ornate one, measures 9" in diameter, and 5" high. It is in good physical condition, but for the expected signs of wear and some rusting on the outer rim, as shown in photos. It's a solid, metal piece, which appears to be cast iron, embellished with scroll work and raised lettering. It reads: DIRECT CURRENT Westinghouse Elec. Mfg. Co. Pittsburgh, PA. USA. The meter measures from 0-1500, in graduations of 100. It is marked, Dial Style No. 8485-A; Serial No. 15162. The meter cover is intact. There is a brass plate on the top, that seems to have had its patina removed, leaving some cleanser residue on the upper surface if the ammeter. The info on that plate lists the Patent dates as Oct 5, 97 and June 27, 99. It also shows added information that ... moreit is licensed under Weston Patents Nov 6, 88, July 17'88, Apr 29, 90, and Feb 17, 91. The name plate is numbered 438.
