By removing the side tuning and volume knobs and a screw(which is missing) from the centre back the cover can be removed to replace the battery. The battery is loose in the back not sure if it should be sitting in something but I haven't touched anything. Tiny spot of white paint on front grill and tiny fleck of chrome off side of handle. This i s Lovely EPCA Bristol Silverplate Sugar Bowl and Cream Pitcher Made by Poole Silver Company. Taunton, MA. It is pattern#39. Which has been discontinued. EPCA is Electro Plated Copper Alloy. Poole Silver Company was founded in 1893 in Taunton. Bristol County, Massachusetts. Purchased by Towle Mfg. in 1971. They are about 4" in diameter and about 3 1/4" tall. There are no dents or major scratches. Some normal wear and there maybe some small scratches. Hard to see because the set is tarnished. Should clean up nice. See photos and judge for yourself. Vintage Leonard Silver Plated Duck Coin Bank With Blue Eyes Hong Kong
This is a very nice silver plated metal Duck coin bank by Leonard Silver Mfg. of Hong Kong. Original box not included. The bank height is 5 1/4"x 4 1/2" length. The silver plating could use some tarnish remover and polish but not bad for age and not being cleaned for awhile. The coin bank plug is with it but missing key but I was able to find a wire clip that would open it so I will sell clip with it. There are 2 sets of knit hats and scarves, light blue and light pink, that come with it. It was originally sold with the hat/scarves, to be used in a baby boy or girls room. Large HIPPOPOTAMUS Piggy BANK MCI Vintage Pottery Japan LABEL Open Mouth
Up for auction is a vintage piggy bank in the form of a hippopotamus. The large bank measures 10 1/2 inches long and is in excellent condition. The only issue is the bottom plug. The rubber is dried out and it is partially shoved inside. I found it this way and I'll leave it this way. The large hippo teeth are pointy and perfect. The original label reads: MCI JAPAN. Very nice vintage brass horse bank without key. Unpolished and have not attempted to open it but I don't believe anything is in it. It has original metal plug in bottom where key would go and is locked but it does not look like it would be very difficult to open even without the key so it will make a nice bank for someone or a nice addition to any collection. Listed is a 1958 Chilly WIlly Walter Lantz Cookie Jar. The only issue is a tiny chip on the rim of the jar that you can zoom in and see on the picture. There is a couple of factory marks as I will mention as you can also see in pictures. Overall this is an excellent piece to add to your collection with no abuse or other cracks or chips to mention. It is not faded in color as you can see in pictures Chilly is very colorful. The Cookie jar is about 9 1/2 inches tall.
