The meter seems to be unused with the factory shorting clip still in place on the terminals. I don't have any info on the AC-510X that would tell me what the sensitivity should be. But it measures 0.845 mA FS with my Fluke digital meter. Hickok used odd FS values in its tube tester meters. The meter reads smoothly from zero to full scale without any apparent binding or other problem. If you need a Hickok meter for your tube tester. Maybe this is the one! Nice eBay find for the collector or avid restoration enthusiast. An EICO model 625 vintage tube tester complete with schematic. Parts list, tube data including the May 1956"NEW TUBE TESTER DATA" Roll chart is inside- well lit. Hesitates occasionally when scrolled up/down but I was able to go from"STOP" up to"STOP" down. Included also are 11" x 17" prints of tube data. I tested a 45 tube. As shown in the pictures. Here's one more Tube Tester that use to belong to my Uncle who worked on all kinds of Radio's. TV's, and other electronic devices. This is the Sencore BIG MACK CR-168 Universal CRT Tube Tester. According to the units Setup Booklet, the tester was made in 1986 by Sencore INC, Sioux Falls, SD, in USA. I don't know anything about this tester or how to operate it other than I did plug it in and turned the on-off switch to the"on" position and the needle under the plastic dial jumped up a little, then dropped back down. So, I assume the unit does still work. But, I do not know how to operate it nor do I have a tube to try to test it verifying its working condition. It appears to have been hardly used and is in very nice condition. It looks like a more advanced tube tester. It still has all of the numbered plug adapter's ... moreand it looks like you can test a variety of different size tubes. The case is in real good condition. Could not find any dates nor could I find any info on this particular model, you collector's and electronic's wizards will know what this is. The Serial Number is 3270042. It powers up. I tested many different types of tubes on this checker& it worked fine.In one of the pictures. I show it testing one side of a 6SN7 tube. This tester will check 4.5,6,7, 8, 9 pin tubes.It will also check acorn type tubes.This unit will not test 10& 12 pin sweep tubes, way too old for those types. It comes with a paper book type tube chart& also plate cap lead for testing tubes with a top plate cap.There is also an 8 pin with guide pin to 8 pin with no guide pin adapter.Not sure what kind of tubes those are. But it comes with it anyway. The meter looks great with no cracks found.The power cord is in very good shape as well. Up for auction is a Sencore TC28 Hybrider Tube& Transistor tester. It is in like new condition& comes with the original box& paperwork. It has been checked for calibration using the sencore calibration module and no adjustment was needed it was spot on and I tested several tubes including 12AX7 5U4G 6L6 EL84 6550 6JS6C 8950 6LQ6 6SN7GT and several others with excellent results. The sockets are just like new clean& tight and all knobs and switches are smooth and function as the should. The outer case is free of scratches. Scuffs or rust. It has the test setting book attached to the inner lid and it is loaded with tube data& is in mint shape. This is the nicest Sencore I have ever came across and I have had several. This is a manual for the Tube and Transistor Tester from Lafayette Radio Electronics. Documentation is hard to find for this unit because in their great wisdom. Lafayette never put a model number on the unit itself. Aside from the fact that the unit is vintage, users have no idea what tester they're holding in their hands. Lafayette only made one combined tube and transistor tester. If your Lafayette tester tests both tubes and transistors, this is the manual for it. If you have any doubts, send me a picture of your tester and I'll confirm that this manual is the right one. Basically if your tube tester has sockets for transistors and the name Lafayette on the faceplate, I'll tell you, Yep, you've got the right manual. But that's OK, email me anyway. I HAVE INCLUDED PHOTOS OF A GOOD TYPE 10 VT-25 TUBE. A KNOWN WEAK 2A3 AND A GOOD 1626 TUBE ALL BEING TESTED. THE SHORT LIGHT HAS WORKED IN THE PAST FOR ME WHEN I CAME ACROSS A TUBE WITH A SHORT. ONE TUBE I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TEST WITH THIS IS AN 807. THE TUBE LIGHTS UP BUT THATS ALL. CAN GET NO READINGS. HAS A SOLID STATE RECTIFIER IN PLACE OF THE 83 AND THE WINNER MAY WANT TO REPLACE IT WITH AN 83 TUBE. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS CALIBRATED AND THAT WOULD BE ADVISED. Acurate Instrument Co. Inc. Model 257 tube tester
This tube tester is in rough condition. But appears to work. I tried a 7 pin and a couple of 9 pin tubes(not included) on it, and got good indications for a couple of them, and a"shorts" indication on the other. There are some handy pin straighteners in the top row, and one of the sockets is for Nuvistor tubes, which are kind of rare. I have listed it in the"for parts or not working" category. Mostly over concerns that some of the switches and sockets might need cleaning. All of the metal is rusty, and the material covering the wood enclosure is coming off. You can see this in the pictures. The manual is coming apart, but looks like it has all of the pages except for the front and back cover. It has a date of 1/68 on the first page. Supreme Inc. TV - 7/U Military Tube Tester
Offered for sale is a Supreme Inc. TV- 7/U Tube tester The internal components are in good shape but the case has some corrosion damage(See Pictures) The military manual is included as well as several adapters and leads. I have no means of properly testing the unit but when I plug it in and turn it on the pilot light comes on and there is no smell of smoke(Always a good sign) so although I cannot attest to its function the inside does seem to be in good shape. email if you have any questions and I will try to answer to the best of my ability.

Overall appearance is very good. Grey wrinkle painted metal cabinet shows little wear, no rust. There are 2 empty screw holes on left edge of cabinet, something appears to have been attached there but I don't know what. Chromed trim strips are excellent, no signs of pitting. Chromed lamp hood shows some minor pitting in test area that I cleaned with polishing compound(that cleaned area appears as a large rust spot in 1 photo, it is not rusted) Residue on lamp hood from a sticker. The metal front panel is little dirty but no major defects. Engraved panel markings are excellent. Tube chart moves freely but gets a little stiff near the ends. Very clean inside. Meter ... moremoves freely full scale, no sticking. This a complete reprint of the Superior Instruments Co. Model 85 Dynamic Tube Tester manual with two tube test charts. It's the documentation you need to use and maintain your SICO 85 tube tester. The Model 85 is a Dynamic tube tester. It's a very nice tester that's a step above a simple emission tester(eg. Heathkit TC-2, EICO 625) As such, it is better suited for matching tubes and gives a more accurate test of expected performance. The Model 85's tube tests are similar in function to the EICO 666 tester. The Model 85 is a good instrument and is worthy of continued maintenance and operation.
