HEATHKIT TC1 RADIO TV TUBE TESTER CHECKER
You are bidding on a Heathkit model TC1 tube tester. This has been in storage for many years and the insulation on the power cord dried out and cracked. Where the cord was laying on the front of the tester it left some marks but I think these will clean off. I cut the cord off because all of the insulation was coming off and I did not want someone to plug it in and either harm themselves or the tester. Before I cut the cord off I carefully plugged it in and it did power up and seemed to work fine. I tested a tube with it as you can see in the pics. None of the wires inside the tester are dried out. They are all still very pliable. I included a pic of the inside so you can see that it is very clean. All of the knobs are still on it as well. It does not look like it has been used much at all. Vintage Supreme Tube Tester 504-A **Rare**
This is a push button set tester that was produced in three model versions in the 1940's. The 504, 504-A, and 504-B. This is the 504-A. This tube tester has a built in roll chart for tube data. The front panel has painted lines from the chart to the corresponding controls for easy tube set up. This tube tester also measures DC, ohms, milliamps, amps, and capacitors. It is in good condition and still powers up. A very valuable piece to any collection. The leather strap in front is torn, but is all there.

HICKOK TUBE TESTER Model 538 ***FOR PARTS OR REPAIR***
Offered is a HICKOK TUBE TESTER. Model 538. This Tube Tester appears to be Complete and in Very Good+ Cosmetic Condition. When I initially Plugged in this Tester the Pilot Light/ON/OFF Indicator Light came on then Shut Off after about a minute or so. The A.C. Voltage Meter shows virtually No Input Power but does Fluctuate somewhat when the Plug End is Initially Connected to a Power Source. I tried manipulating the Switches and Dials with No Change. The Insulation on the Plug End was seriously dried and cracked so I replaced the Plug End but that had No Effect. All the Dials and Switches appear to Function Properly at least Mechanically. I carefully removed the Unit from the Case to check the condition of the inside and included photographs. Everything inside is reasonably clean. The Outer Case is in Solid Condition. However the Rubber Feet ... morewhich were originally on the Bottom and End are gone. Also included is the Original Operating Instructions. Please review the detailed photographs. TV-7/U Military Tube Tester. Very good++ condition, shows very little wear from actual use, nice tight sockets, virtually no wear on the face plate around the knobs. The case has been painted, very possibly by the military, and shows scratches and wear from being moved around. It is shown testing a known good 6L6GC, reading 32, where 25 is minimum in the data book. This tester has not been calibrated, so plan on calibrating it or having it done. As found, Sold As Is. Triplet model 2413 tube tester steampunk
The outside of the metal box has flaking paint and rust. And the carrying handle is missing, has some paperwork inside with it, including a booklet priced 50 cents. titled. home radio quick troublefinder gadget by Alfred A. Ghirard. I have not attempted to clean it at all, it is how i found it, as i leave cleaning to the buyer, dont wanna damage or wipe away any petina. UPDATE. I also found the original operating instructions that i had misplaced it covers model 2413& 3212. Also plugged it in and the needle on the gauge moved in a test mode as described in the book i found so it does function as far as it is getting power.

I have replaced the power cord with a new grounded(3 wire) unit as well as all capacitors(including all electrolytics) All rectifiers and all resistors that tested out of spec but I can't get it to do a line test or to test a tube. ... moreThis tester has no less than 13 pots that have to be adjusted IN SEQUENCE.IN an UNKNOWN RANDOM ORDER(not 1 through 13 but_ thru_ to calibrate it so you have to have the factory procedure or a working knowledge of this tester to calibrate it AND I DON'T! I assume all it needs to work and be a REALLY DESIRABLE tester is a proper calibration as all voltages seem to be present where they should be BUT THAT IS NOT GUARANTEED AND IT MAY NEED OTHER REPAIRS. I have cleaned ALL SWITCHES AND CONTACTS AS WELL AS ALL SOCKETS(which are all in good shape) with DEOXIT and compressed air. I have also tightened the sockets. This tester is complete. The unit itself is in excellent condition although the tolex covering on the case has some scuffs and small areas of torn fabric. All latches and hinges are present and in good condition. It is complete with it's roll chart which works properly and several other bits of information and tube data sheets which are not shown. I must be honest and state that most techs that service tube testers will not attempt a repair on one of these for the very reason my repair was unsuccessful. Here's a rare find. It's a complete. Factory built EICO 625 with a 610 adapter. This unit is fully working and ready to test. I calibrated this tester and found it to be very accurate. It's not missing any parts. The meter works very smoothly and is very repeatable. I tested all sockets except the odd-ball Hytron 5-pin and 8-pin Nuvistor. I don't have any of these tubes. As shown in the pictures. This unit looks to be factory built with final test completed on November 11, 1958. The meter is dated June 20, 1958. The roll chart is 625-09. Overall this tester is in very good condition. All the switches work well. Unit comes complete with manuals. This is probably as complete a documentation set for the 625/610 as you will find. TV-7D/U. Overhauled by SAAD 1986. Calibrated by Military 1992(see stickers) Ser#1734. I have owned this unit for 17 years and never used it. Bought on eBay in 1999. Meter function shown with Line Adjustment. I think the"octal" socket is extended. Tested a 6H6. 6V6, and 5Y3 and all correlated well to an I-177B which I also have for sale. I don't know a lot about tube testers but this unit seems to work fine on the meter tests I ran and it looks pretty good. See pictures of the case. It has two or three dents and some scratches and stains. There is a tag attached to one of the knobs but its meaning is unknown. This unit does not have the original little booklet, but comes with 3 spiral bound test and repair books. This is a vintage Central Electronics RE-1 Rejuva-Tube TV picture tube tester.The cords aren't frayed. So I plugged it in and it powered up as indicated by the red light coming on. Upon turning one of the knobs I found it hums louder on some settings than others. Besides this basic powerup and turning the knobs, it has not been tested further. The unit comes with its original paperwork shown. The paperwork says the Rejuva-Tube adds additional long-term life into picture tubes that have dimmed, rather than a"shot in the arm" Condition: The metal hinges exhibit rust. The inside liner where the cords are is peeling, and the unit is dirty and should be cleaned. Mechanically, since I cannot test it fully it is being sold as is.

TV-7 A/U Tube Tester - Excellent Functional Condition
Excellent functional condition TV-7 A/U. Recently refurbished- all switches cleaned. Critical caps, resistors, and diodes replaced. 7/9 pin sockets and the 83 tube were replaced by Dan Nelson when he had the unit for calibration(completed in Nov. 2014) This is a great unit- everything works well, and the calibration came out very accurate. I hate to get rid of this but while it was at Dan's, someone offered me a TV-7 D/U in almost new condition for a price I couldn't pass up. It's been to Dan's for calibration already so I'm set and don't really need two of these. Very nice Dayrad early tube tester and voltmeter. The bakelite case is nice and whole but missing the lid. The panel is in very nice condition. There is a hairline crack on the glass of one of the meters, please, see pictures. I tested the DC and AC voltmeters and they work, but I can't guarantee their calibrations. I did not test the tube testing feature. No manual or tube chart or probes. What you see is what you get. Great unit to restore an have on a vintage radio restorer's bench. Nice piece of radio history. The Sterling advertisement read: Checks all A. C. or D. C. receivers including the new screen grid type tube. Socket connector permits the checking of conditions and voltages at each socket or stage of the radio set. New scale grouping insures greater testing accuracy" This item seems somewhat different than most of the R-522 I have seen pictured because this one has a knob located between the Filament Voltage meter and Volts DC meter(not sure what for) The unit is in fair condition with some scuffs on the outside of the case and the clasps are missing.
