Up for auction is a Scotts Evolution 4000 thermal imager. I used it for hunting hogs and it worked great. I could scan a whole pasture in seconds and could tell weather there were any hogs, deer, and coyotes to hunt. I could also take it to the blind and you could see them coming way before they hit the feeder. If you want to go hunting animals or chasing ghost with it you won’t be sorry, the 2 batteries are going dead they still work but will need replaced. You can get these batteries on ebay for around $20, there just camcorder batteries. Thermal Imager - EEV E2V P4428 - w/Power, New Straps, and Jacket
Up for sale is a used EEV E2V P4428 Thermal Imager with Power Supply. NEW Jacket(yellow padded thing) NEW Straps, Battery Power Adapter(black tube in pics, holds ten AA batteries) and is in excellent cosmetic condition. Essentially this is how I imagine these things looked when they first came on the market. I pulled the jacket and straps out of their sealed plastic bags(to save the buyer the hassle of attaching them to the camera) but the battery adapter straps have not been done, and are shown rubber-banded together in the first pic. Cosmetically its about the nicest one of this model you'll find today. It's far from as fancy as the newer ones. But it's also much cheaper. The lens up front has some very very light marks here and there, which are almost imperceptible(as in hairline or smaller little scratches) but it doesn't ... moreseem to effect the image, since it's not a standard camera that needs a perfect lens or else the picture is effected. Also, it has to warm up for a few minutes before seeing an image(fairly standard for this model) which I mention so the buyer doesn't wig out when pushing"on" and only the red lights go on and nothing else. Also to note: It's damn near impossible to get a decent picture with a camera phone inside the rubber viewer because of glare and holding the camera. Etc, so keep in mind the thermal quality is a little better than the pictures. Oh and for the record. Don't buy this and try to fight fires/save lives with it. It works, and you see thermal images of things, but it's not like a new fancy device giving you a range of detail and info on the screen. But, with that being said, its built like a tank, and I dare say kids could play with it and not mess it up(especially with the jacket on) So. With all of that having been said, payment due within 24 hours of purchase or it gets re-listed, and the only returns accepted will be if it doesn't work when it lands on your doorstep. Night vision Thermal-Eye helmet mount thermal imager monocular viewer pvs-14 use
PVS-14 and J-ARM not included. They are only to show the system will accept a PVS-14 for dual eye use. Cosmetic Issues: There are some fine scratches on the eyepiece lens. And the Dark Earth painted rhino mount has been sanded down to black so that it functions smoothly. Both of these cosmetic issues are shown in the last photos. Performance: I used this to detect wildlife while wearing my PVS-14. You won't be able to get a true dual eye view with depth perception.etc. But you will be able to detect hot spots with the thermal and then verify and identify instantly with a PVS-14 style device. Certainly worth the money considering the cheapest thermal monoculars run over $3,000. No modification was made to the actual thermal-eye camera. The mounting hardware uses the built in tri-pod mount that came with the thermal camera. Nothing was ... moredone to compromise the thermal camera. The rhino arm is standard military style. And the thermal camera mounting hardware is machined from 6061 aluminum and powder coated tan. The custom mount holding the thermal-eye is extremely sturdy/rigid and does not have any wobble, nor is it able to twist out of place. Included is a Thermal-Eye x100xp thermal camera/viewer with a rhino arm mounting solution for use with nightvision helmet mounting plates. See videos on youtube for examples of the thermal-eye units capability and detection range.etc. Also included are the original thermal-eye case. Accessories, and video cables. Again. PVS-14 and J-ARM.etc are not included. Only the thermal unit and mounting solutions.
