As I do not have the technical knowledge or equipment to do so. It does power on, and the sound system works. When first powered on, the scope showed a bright line that extend about 1/3 of the way across the screen. After I cleaned some of the storage grime from it, and in doing so changed some of the settings, the scope did not light up, but a bouncing dot of light appeared momentarily when I powered it down.
