The schematic for the equipment is dated 1/10/62. The equipment is in pretty good condition, particularly considering its age. There are some small scuffs and scratches in the case paint, but nothing major. Front panel is in good condition; everything is easily readable; There is a bit of a crack in the pointer of the frequency knob. It is also capable of AM and FM modulation of the carrier signal using either a 1 kHz or 400 Hz internally generated tone. Or an external modulation source. Percentage modulation and deviation levels are also set from the front panel keypad. The generator has been tested and meets the original specs in the Wavetek manual for output level, frequency accuracy and phase noise. Signal generator Tenma 72-380 in working order. Nice generator for a bench. Very space efficient. Generates sine. Square, sawtooth waves. All ranges work ok. Unit display does NOT work. It always displays.000. This doesn't affect operation in any way. Except not displaying the exact frequency. I have not done any work to investigate since the frequency range and selection is clearly labelled. The knob and pushbutton ranges are labelled with the frequency. And appears to be accurate. I don't know if it needs a cal. It looked ok to me. I've had to epoxy the handle together. It seems to be holding fine. Unit is as- working with a bad display. Good inexpensive choice if you just need a sig gen. Thanks for looking.

Logimetrics 921 Signal Generator - Lab Grade!
Up for your consideration is a Logimetrics 921 RF Signal Generator. Frequency range is 50 kHz to 80 MHz. With outputs from When I bought it. The MICROVOLTS meter(on the right) was missing. I found a Modutec meter movement(tough to find! that had a different coil resistance, so I built an op-amp circuit to re-scale the output and set it with a VTVM. I haven't checked the output(don't have the VTVM anymore) but as you can see, the output is healthy and very nicely-shaped. Note also that you can connect a counter to the UNCAL RF output and read the frequency with more precision. This generator is very stable and the output does not drift after a brief warmup. The cabinet has its share of scratches which, of course, do not affect its operation. Please note that the only items being sold are the Logimetrics 921 and its manual. The power ... moresupply. Counter and scope are not for sale and are not part of this auction. The main reason I'm selling this is to free up bench space. I bought a smaller generator that will suit my needs.
