Down East Microwave model 13ULNA low noise amplifier/preamplifier in good working order. I measured it to be 16.2 dB gain at 2.441 GHz at 13.5 VDC supply voltage. 1 dB down frequencies were measured to be 15.2 dB at 1.592 GHz. And 15.2 dB gain at 2.791 GHz. Covers the 2.3 to 2.45 MHz ham band, 2.4 GHz WLAN channels etc. I don't have a noise figure meter but these are supposed to between 0.4 to 0.7 dB NF, good for DX! The screws are missing from the first photo as I was about to take the inside photo. Manufacturers specifications are at. This one has SMA connectors. RF Concepts 2-23 2 meter 30 watt Amplifier with preamp I picked this up years ago new to be my ARES amplifier for my HT. It never really got used other than to test it once in a while. It has spent its life in my ARES go bag in a closet. It's a nice RF Concepts model. They are rare to find these day and are sought after by many. It does 30W out with just 2 W input. It can take 5W and gives about 34W out. It has a nice preamplifier for weak signals and has an FM/SSB switch in case you are using a low power SSB rig on 2 meters. It comes with a short power cord with Anderson powerpoles installed. I always had great luck with RF Concepts. I wish they were still making the same kind of amps today. Milcom International RF Power Amplifier. Model number LDA8587-20-40. Labeled as 850- 870 MHz, 1 milliwatt in, 20 watts out, 13.8 volts DC. The unit measures 6.0 x 3.75 x 1.35 inches. Construction quality looks good, Teflon glass PC board, drawn aluminum housing, gold plated SMA connectors. The measured gain response curve for this unit is attached. A 30 dB attenuator was used on the amplifier input so the amplifier gain at 861.2 MHz was 41.3 dB. My power supply gave 13.2 volts DC. A little less than the 13.8 volts advised on the label. This amplifier must be bolted to a heat sink(not included) with thermal grease before using. You can get heat sinks and thermal grease at Mauser, Digikey and usually here at Ebay. That little blue semiconductor module puts a lot of heat out in a small area. Item is sold as parts or not working.
