Tektroniz TEK 453 oscilloscope and probe - tested
This is a working. Tested Tek 453 oscilloscope. It has not been recently calibrated, but all channel and trigger functions work. I have tried to take representative pictures showing traces on both channels and triggering in alt mode. I have also provided pictures showing the scale illumination and a relistic trance intensity in focus. One picture shows that the trace can be made much brighter(demonstrates the health of the CRT) but that intensity washed out the scale for practical use. I am including 2 non-original tek probes, a 6105 that works and is complete, and another 6000 series that DOES NOT WORK, but used to. perhaps there is a fix, perhaps not. You can see that the face and controls are clean and not abnormally scratched or dinged. The screen and cover are also in clean condition. I did not have an original mains cable, so I made ... moreone of a new extension cord and right angle socket- needs to be right angle to pass under and allow the scope to stand on its legs. But I have not used the probe and it is literally like new, with all included accessories also unused. The probe is a passive 50MHz design and will fit all Tektronix and other scopes that I know of. The scope is clean and free of auction markings, the display is bright and sharp, and all of the cover latches are there and working. I run a series of tests with scopes to verify basic functionality: Power up for 30 minutes Verify front panel controls working Connect to Fluke 515A Calibrator and cross check with Fluke 45. Wavetek 21 and Tek 2246 Verify 10X probe working and compensation adjusted Verify CH1 and CH2 vertical deflection with 1 VDC from 515A Verify CH1 and CH2 vertical deflection with 1 VAC from 515A Verify Frequency measurement with Delta T and lower screen readout. Using 4KHz from 515A(1/4000=.25 ms) Screen shots of most of these tests are shown. Test results are satisfactory for this scope.

This scope meter and accessories have been used very little. I bought brand new so I know. I just recently used it and noticed that the battery seems weak and will not hold a charge but it can be replaced at a reasonable price. Software says for use with Windows but it is on a floppy disk so I am not sure what it is fully compatible with.
