It shows some signs of age and is out of calibration. It is missing the knob covers for the intensity. Focus, and scale illumination knobs. All other knobs and switches are present. When we first tested this model it was producing 2 images for each source.we managed to get this to go away however it still occasionally produces multiple waveform images on its screen when there should only be one. After it warmed up it started doing a better at reproducing our waveform from the input. It was not very good at reproducing low Hz signals.anything below 100Hz looked like DC Offset being turned off and on. Our conclusion? This machine is in need of a good calibration. This 2 GSa/s. 500 MHz, 4 channel scope is in great condition and comes with one probe. I have replaced the Lithium battery and the CRT. I have calibrated the unit. It passes all self tests. I have completely tested the four front end attenuator preamps and they are all working to specs. You get great full bandwidth on 4 channels 2 GSa/s simultaneously on a single trigger. Hardcopy is possible using the floppy drive. Just save to the floppy and then use your PC to get hard copy. One picture shows the hardcopy file. Performance is equivalent to the 54810A. 54840A, and other Infiniium scopes. The good news is that the operating system is EEPROM. No Hard disk! NO Microsoft windows 98! Up for auction is a Tektronix 2465 Analog Oscilloscope in a Rack Adapter with an AM 503B Current Probe Amplifier. The units are in ok physical condition but show signs of use with some scuffing and ground in grime. The 2465 Oscilloscope powers on and takes quite a while to get working. After it warms up a bit the screen finally displays a line. After fiddling with some of the knobs. The display can disappear. I have a feeling this CRT may be on its way out. The AM 503B Current Probe Amplifier powers on, but I cannot test it. I had to remove it from the case it was in, as the previous owner had spliced many things together and it did not look safe.
