This unit is in an excellent cosmetic and working condition. It was tested for functionality of all the switches. Functions etc. and for the accuracy of readings of time/frequency, voltage, and the bandwidth. There is no issues of any sort, all the specifications are as per manufacturers' specifications. The quality of the design of this model and the actual realization of the ideas implemented is still something to marvel upon. The inputs are selectable 50 Ohm or 1 MOhm; 50 Ohm input has bandwidth of 350 MHz; while 1 MOhm is 250 MHz. Both of those were way above in the testing of this unit) 50 Ohm input will switch itself off if overloaded. The time base division goes down to 1 ns; the writing speed is 3 div/ns. The wide bandwidth of this oscilloscope is suitable for all kind of various measurements. In addition to the oscilloscope functions ... moreI should mention that built in pulse generator generates pulses with less than 1 ns rise time. So this pulse generator also can be used for various test/ design purposes. This is all packed in the fairly small footprint and weight. This can be considered portable oscilloscope. Using components two or three times higher rated than needed, however in case of repair, although there are some Tektronix ICs inside, majority of components are generic components that can be bought in any electronic store. Transistors are not soldered at the boards, they slide in their holders, so replacement of the transistors doesn't involve soldering. Highly recommended for any electronic project. These are push pin type leads where you push the top"button" and the lead sticks out at the other end. Also comes with a new Passive Test Probe 1X 10X There is no manual. I tried using the test probe to get a"square" wave but there is just too many variables to play with and I think I need to change the Capacitance Correction Timmer. I think I got part of a square wave but it really makes a difference where the other switches are. I did not use the ground part of the Tester if that makes any difference? ... moreToo much of a headache to figure out. So selling as is. It has a strong sturdy adjustable handle. Tektronix 468 Digital Storage Oscilloscope 2 Channel Probe & Instruction Manual
For sale. I have a working Tektronix 468 Digital Storage Oscilloscope. I tested it in several modes and everything seems to work, although I am not an expert and cannot say for sure that every function works as it should. If there is anything you want me to specifically test, just let me know. It comes with oneTektronix P6062B probe and the Instruction Manual. Manual is dated 1984 so I'm guessing that's how old it is. Was stored for a while so it does have some cosmetic scratches and dust in the crevices. The cord is in good shape but does have a small slit in the rubber which I have photoed. This wasn't a problem for me when I plugged it in but mentioning to be thorough. Also, it looks like a plastic collar is missing on one of the front knobs. I owned a repair center for 30 years. As part of my equipment inventory. I owned 5 Sencore SC61 scopes. I was getting frustrated with Sencore's repair and recalibration prices so I tried using another company that specializes in Sencore repair. I sent in on of my scopes and received back a completely different one. It was the same model but not the one I sent in. It even had another shops name on it. They explained to me that their policy was"rebuilt exchange" on Sencore products. I wish they would have told me that before I sent it in. None the less I got pissed, put it back in the box and put it in storage. I've since retired and don't need it anymore. I'm cleaning things out now and thought I would list it to see if there is any market for these. I pulled it out of the box and it seems to work but due to the age ... moreand lack of history it is sold as is. I'll throw in an original Sencore probe with it. Here's some specs I found on another website: The Sencore SC61 Waveform Analyzer starts with a high quality oscilloscope. The CRT display section has a bandwidth of 60MHz. And is usable to 100MHz to show the needed detail when analyzing digital signals.
