This is an Elenco GF-8026 Function Generator for electronic testing. Made in Korea(not China) I purchased this item from a now-retired Electronics teacher at the local community college, but it just isn't something I use often enough to justify keeping it. The meter is in good condition overall and the functions appear to be working properly from my brief testing. I don't have the operators manual, but one could easily be downloaded on the WWW. I bought this generator to run a sine wave through electronic equipment for troubleshooting and waveform monitoring, but for my low-frequency use the audio generator I already have is adequate. This generator will produce sine waves, square waves, triangle waves an can be adjusted to skew the waveform forward or rearward for a ramp waveform or for TTL uses. The frequency range is from less ... morethan 1 HZ(02) to 2 MHZ. The impedance is 50 ohms or 600 ohms + or- 10% The output amplitude is 2 to 20 volts Peak-to-Peak. This unit may also be used as a frequency counter, but I have not tried or used that function. Complete specifications may be found elsewhere. There are some marks, dings, scratches in the plastic cabinet, nothing too serious. The front panel, display, controls and switches all look good. This would be a good generator for an electronics student, experimenter or professional technician. Top and bottom covers both units are clean. Second unit front graphics are cosmetically worn due to years of care. Self Tests: All lighted buttons including display are bright and functioning. Both units pass self tests 1-3. Amplitude calibrations pass amplitude checks with scope and DMM. Sweep frequency program runs correctly. High Voltage options work well.
