Photos are of actual item. Face is yellowed from age not bright white as in photo. Powers on. No output. Ground pin missing from AC plug. The + and- 5 volt regulators failed putting the supplies to 8-9 Vdc. I have replaced them with LM7905 and LM7805 regulators. So now the + and- 5 volts is being supplied to the boards. I suspect that all 5 volt IC's will need replacement at the least. Sold as is needing repair.

It combines two signal sources in a single box to produce a wide variety of test signals from 0.01 Hz to 13 MHz. The two generators can be used separately for tests of multiple input devices such as modulators, or combined to produce AM or FM modulated output with the choice of sine, square, or triangular waveform modulation. The modulation generator can also gate or trigger the main generator to give single-cycle or multiple-cycle modes of operation that greatly expands the variety of waveforms that the 3312A can produce(narrow low-duty-cycle pulse trains, pulse bursts, etc. The modulation generator can also sweep the main generator up to two decades in frequency ... moreat sweep rates as slow as 1 sweep per 100 seconds. Fully functional, and clean inside and out(no corrosion) The first picture shows a nicely modulated AM signal, which requires both internal generators to be functioning properly. The calibration seems on or close to spec except that the frequency dial is significantly off above 10 MHz. There are minor blemishes from years of use but no significant damage. The manual is in very good condition and has been annotated to incorporate the manual changes(pen& ink) MISCELLANEOUS This is a very impressive piece of test equipment. They just don’t make them like this anymore(gold clad conductors. BK precision 4011A 5 MHz Function Generator - Signal Generator
This is a like new BK Model 4011A 5 MHz Function Generator. I've had this for a while but it has seen very little use and is in a true"like new" condition. Primarily I used it as an instructional tool along with an oscilloscope to teach about electrical signals and how to read a'scope. If you're looking at this I assume you know what you're looking at so there isn't much point in me rambling on at length about features you already know. The pictures should show everything with the labels on various controls. It comes with the AC cord which didn't make the picture. The single BNC cable with the alligator clips as shown. I may still have the manuals and other papers that came with it but don't hold me to that. I will look and if I find them I will include them. If not, I'm sure the manual is online ... moresomewhere.
