Efratom SLCR-101 Rubidium Frequency Standard- Calibrated- HAM Here's a very nice. Accurate rubidium 10 MHz frequency standard for your lab or"shack. The Efratom SCLR-101 is a re-packaged version of the original Datum/Symmetricom LPRO-101, but is lower in in height. They are operationally identical. Specifications for the LPRO unit apply equally to the Efratom SLCR. The Symmetricom data sheet is shown in photo 4. This unit has been recently calibrated against a laboratory standard kept phase-locked to the GPS system cesium standards. And is guaranteed to meet or exceed its original factory accuracy specification. The output is a nice, clean sine wave of approximately 2.5 Volts P-P(photo 2) and about half that into a 50 Ohm load. Photo 3 shows its measured accuracy on my HP 5334B counter. Actual accuracy is much greater than the resolution ... moreof the counter can display. Measured frequency offset from the standard was +0.76E-11 at the time of calibration, measured over a 6 hour period after an initial 6 hour warm up. Lamp voltage is 8.7 Volts, an almost new value, and this standard has many years of useful life left. The Efratom SLRC-101 runs on a single 24 Volt DC power supply with a start-up current draw of just under 1.5 Amps. After warm-up. Operating current drops to under 0.5 Amps. Brandywine GPS-4 Time & Frequency Standard GPSDO High Stability Oscillator 10MHz
This is a Brandywine GPS-4 which has the Brandywine High-Stability Oscillator option and 18-36 VDC input option. Includes an Acopian VA24MT210 24V linear PSU. You can look up the details on the Acopian website. It seems to have pretty good specs(and lists for $225 itself) Don't even ask how it compares to a T-Bolt or other GPSDO because I wouldn't be able to answer that. Includes a short serial cable adapter I made(it's kind of rinky-dink but it does the job) since hooking up a regular serial cable directly to the unit triggers a fault(or holds down in reset. It’s been a while so I’m not 100% sure) Brandywine in their infinite wisdom decided to shove a whole bunch of non-standard related functions on the DB-9 connector, so to prevent issues that's why I made the adapter with just the tx/rx/gnd wires.
