Nonworking Fluke 117 True RMS Multimeter
This is a nonworking Fluke 117 True RMS multimeter. There is no battery included. The internal fuse has also been removed. The internal board is intact and the case is in good shape. The history of this device is that I purchased it a number of years ago. It sat in storage and I used it infrequently. One day a few months ago I turned it on and the display went funny. It would not turn on consistently after that and eventually stopped working altogether. As the warranty on this device is expired, Fluke would not repair it(the 117 is not under the Fluke Lifetime Warranty)

This meter came from an auction. Two of the battery contacts were a little dirty. I scraped them clean, put in 4 new batteries and the meter seems to work as it should.
