This auction is for a Fluke 343A DC Voltage Calibrator in excellent condition. The following description is from Fluke’s spec sheet: The 343A is a 7-digit instrument with a basic accuracy of 20 ppm and a resolution of 1µV on the 10 µV range. Cleanliness of the dc output is evident in the combined ripple and noise specifications of 50µV rms from the 343A. Short term jitter and other random excursions are almost none-existent. Less than 1 ppm. Output Voltage Range: 0 to 1100 DC Output Current Range: 0 to 25 mA The January 1990 price sheet that the above information came from lists the price of a 343A at $6.350. This is a great unit with no issues. I doubt you could find a better one. Especially at this price. I went over it thoroughly when I first acquired it. At that time I replaced four electrolytic capacitors, two out-of-tolerance ... moreresistors, and all five light bulbs. I ordered the correct bulbs and Vishay capacitors from Digi-Key in order to maintain the high quality of the original components. Since that time everything has worked 100% It was last calibrated in 2008 by ESSCO Calibration Labs(see photo) but it appears to still be well within spec. I’m selling it to help offset the cost of a Fluke 5440 which has another digit of resolution and even better accuracy(albeit at far greater expense) The unit has a few minor scuffs and scrapes but for a unit of this age it’s exceptionally clean. Be sure to check out the photos. Including those showing the 343A outputting 1, 10, 100, and 1,000 VDC along with 12.345 mV. FLUKE 5101B CALIBRATOR (With Manual) AS-IS
UPDATE(2/28/2014) One potential bidder for this item sent me a message and instructed me on how to set the output to 10V 60Hz. So I did that. The unit appears to have adjusted to the correct voltage(I've uploaded another picture) I can't seem to find my multimeter, so I wasn't able to verify that the voltage coming out is actually correct. Also. I found that this has a"Y5000 Interface/Buffer" on the back. I've uploaded a picture of it. I did find one cable that can connect to this. It was hooked up to a Fluke 5205A Precision Power Amplifier. If anyone wants to make me a reasonable offer on that unit, I could throw it in with this one, and include the cable. Shipping would of course increase. The 5205A is quite heavy. Just let me know. UPDATE(2/27/14) After receiving a few requests. I plugged the unit in and verified ... morethat it does indeed turn on and does not appear to have any errors. I have attached a picture of the unit turned on. And has a sticker saying it was last calibrated on 10-11-2010. It includes the manual. I don't know anything about how to operate it, so I have not even plugged it in.
