Note the manual has a ripped spot on the cover where a sticker was. I powered up this unit after obtaining it at an estate sale. I tested both the A and B outputs with a volt meter and they checked out good. Both displays registered. I did not test any other function. Strong DC Power Supply Assembly
Heavy Duty DC Power Supply basis. Massive transformer. Choke and 4 filter caps along with added 25 amp bridge rectifier makes for very low ripple DC bench power. I have used this rig with a variac to get voltages up to 15 volts at 10 amps without any strain. You will note in one of the pictures that I have attached a 25 amp bridge rectifier to the frame but if you want continuous high current from the setup you would be better off placing the bridge on a good heat sink. If you are into testing 12 volt supplied equipment this can be the basis of a nice source. it was pulled from some military equipment and if you look at the ratings on the choke and transformer you will see at 115 VAC input it is the real deal built like a tank.
