For Auction: Teletype Corporation DC Loop Power Supply made for the US Navy. Designated PP-987. Condition: Excellent original physical condition and good as a vintage collectible. Electrically untested. The unit is complete except for a missing bottom chassis cover. Size is 10" x 7.5" as an FYI and originally used 4-40 screws. The threaded holes were reclaimed and have been cleaned for these. Description: For redeployment. The unit should have its selenium rectifiers updated with more modern silicon rectifiers. See the schematic in the photo section and the photo of the selenium rectifiers. CR1. CR2& CR3 each have a pair of diodes and the wiring is color coded for ease of replacement. The three electrolytic capacitors could be reformed or replaced. Apex Electronic Surplus has equivalent Sprague capacitors for $2 each) All fuses ... morecheck for continuity. Spare fuses are in place although the 5A fuse is only rated for 32V and should be replaced. Updating the rectifiers usually means fabricating a G10 fiberglass board and physically mounting that board where the selenium rectifiers were. For examples of such a board. See the popular 30L1 board kits. Using G10 board would also enable you the freedom to heat sink industrial rectifiers keeping the heat sinks separate where necessary. YMMV but these are thoughts. Vintage HP 6259B DC Power Supply 0-10V 0-50A Very hard to find in this condition
Up for your consideration/ auction is an Vintage Hewett Packard Power supply HP 6259B regulated power supply. Please read this description and review and examine all the pictures before placing any bids on this item. I have had this power supply in my possession since 7-3-2000. I bought this for a project that I never did get around to doing. It has been inside of dry storage of an warehouse for the past 11 years. I have not used it. It is made in U.S.A. from the back information plate lettering of silk screen printing that was done at the factory. This power supply is in nice condition. It has been lightly used. With only some scratch marks on the bottom from being moved around in it's storage days. There are some scratches on the top cover and bottom cover of the case from being handled and that is all of the marks on the other sides ... moreof this case that I could find. There is also some glue residue that is embedded into the paint on the middle part of the front panel. The front panel is in nice usable shape with all the hand tighten screw on terminals present and the Standard-head screws are all in great shape with no rounding out of the heads of the screws. The power on indicator is present and looks to be in good shape. The power On/Off switch moves from one position to the other with a nice click sound and feel when moved. The COARSE. FINE VOLTAGE and the COARSE, FINE CURRENT knobs are present and in great shape. They move smoothly through their range of motion with no ruff spots. The knobs are complete with no cracks or missing parts. Some of the case screws that are not stainless steel do have some surface rust on them The only thing I could find wrong is that are a few areas on the front face where the paint has worn away and the metal is slightly exposed and you can see this in the photos of the front face. All the sides of the casing seems to be in great shape with no major marks or dents. There is a few areas where the factory paint has come off and there are a small bit of surface rust on there area

The metal cabinet measures 8" x 4 1/4" x 5 1/2(not including knobs) I was able to power up the unit and adjust the voltage(see first photo) No other tests were performed. The power cord has cracks in the outer cover. The cabinet is dirty and will need to be cleaned. I do not have a manual for the set. There is a small burn mark on the plastic cover of the meter.
