I also hooked a DC motor up to the power supply, and it powered the motor just fine, and I was able to adjust the speed on the motor by increasing the current output of the power supply. Up for sale is a lot of five(5) genuine Motorola OEM 18 volt power supplies for HT Series Handi Talkie Radio chargers. These also power a variety of DC equipment requiring high current. Supplying 1000 milliamps at 18 VDC. I used these with Shure wireless receivers and they work well. The barrel on the DC connector fits perfectly, and by flexing the inner pin on the receiver's power connector to give it a little more spread, it makes a perfect contact. These are easier to set-up than the stock Shure power supplies, since you don't have two cords to deal with. All units are tested. Fully functional and fully guaranteed. Avlex model PS 1000 with 12 pin cable. Rack mount 19 inches total width with handles 11 deep 5 plus inches tall. Scratches to top of unit. Very heavy. Unit was in service in a church AV system. Sorry I don't have more info. I have not done any further testing except to plug it in again after I came home and it powers on. Appears to have variable DC power settings. The cable has a place where the outside insulation has been scraped(shown in photo) All jacks and terminals seem to be intact and working.
