Unit has names and marking dating back to 1926. The unit itself was later calibrated later in 1938. The exterior is made of nice wood. The shell can use some refinishing. I’m not sure what it was used for other than calibration condensers by Leeds& Northrup. All of the parts appears to be present. This item is defiantly one of a kind. I have seen no others like it listed nor can I find a lot of information about it on line. UPDATE(2/28/2014) One potential bidder for this item sent me a message and instructed me on how to set the output to 10V 60Hz. So I did that. The unit appears to have adjusted to the correct voltage(I've uploaded another picture) I can't seem to find my multimeter, so I wasn't able to verify that the voltage coming out is actually correct. Also. I found that this has a"Y5000 Interface/Buffer" on the back. I've uploaded a picture of it. I did find one cable that can connect to this. It was hooked up to a Fluke 5205A Precision Power Amplifier. If anyone wants to make me a reasonable offer on that unit, I could throw it in with this one, and include the cable.
