Batteries(15V will require replacement) and the original Avo leather case. The meter has a pristine un-corroded battery compartment, un-perished meter strap and positive action cut-out. The leather case is missing the shoulder strap but otherwise is in great condition with no popped seams. This is a MOD spec meter. Manufactured in Feb 86 and last calibrated in 1993. It has been fully tested apart from the 1000VDC range and the uA ranges using a calibrated DVM. The Avo Model 8 was standard issue in the Royal Navy when I did my electronics training) All ranges apart from'current' have been tested and are working fine. The'current' ranges require small value resistors and a voltage supply to test them hence not tested but I think they will probably be ok(current testing in my experience is not used much except perhaps in design work) This meter is in very good condition- with these notes: 1. I used a Fluke meter to test the 1000V and 500V insulation test ranges. Unit generates the correct voltages as it should(see photos) Includes meter.
