Though the one on the left does have some phosphor spots as described below. Portable CRT and Yoke Assembly. I have 2 of these units and don't remember where I got them decades ago. It might have been from our local technical high school that gave me their tube-era stuff when they quit teaching that technology. Both units look quite nice on the outside. I have not cleaned them up at all. One has some black marks on the screen of the CRT. It looks like it would clean up with some solvent or razor blade. The CRT looks good. Visually. The second CRT has the a mark in the phosphor near the center of the screen and the yoke has had all the wires cut ... moreoff which is why I think it came from the High School. Seems like they mostly took things apart. Anyway. These are cool looking and I'll include both for one low price. I'm sure you can make one good one or two cool display units. I would suggest buying just for parts and be surprised if they do work. Three have broken screens, all have belt clips on back except one. A couple might have cracked or separated case. Items recovered locally and selling as parts/repair only. This auction is for a PROMAX-8+ Cable TV Analyser w/Battery& Case for Parts/Repair Only. This came in with a bunch of other cable/tv related equipment. Don't know the status since I can't power up. The button for power. Which is a skin button, is indented and looks like might be non functional. I included a charged battery that is not the best in the world, but was charged and is holding over 8VDC, for your testing. There were some in the large lot of equipment that came in that had repair tags on them, but I threw them away and kept this one, which had no repair tags on it and looked a little better and might function just fine. Possibly just needs power button repaired? This might work fine, or might not, I have no clue. Great still for just parts. No other items included, ... morejust analyser, battery and rubber case.
