Hickok. Positively Fine, gentleman jewelry has produced this tie tack and cuff links, with the script"M" although it might be a"W" Nothing has the type of material it is made out of on it. It appears to be metal including the inserted material that the letter is engraved on. the cuff links are about 3/4 of an inch square. The tie tack is about 1.25" wide and 1" tall. This piece is an Antique Sterling Cigar Cutter attached to a Watch chain with a Sterling Hikok Belt Loop. just Stunning! It is unmarked on the Cutter- but it does test to be Sterling. The Belt loop is maked Hickok Beltogram Sterling and the chain is marked Sterling on the Clasp. The Cutter measures 1 1/2" long by 1/2" wide. The chain is 6 1/2" long, and the Belt loop is 1 1/4" tall by 3/8" wide. I would date these to the early 1900's. It is in Excellent Condition with no damage and it has ... morenatural warm patina. It weighs 14.9 grams and it looks just Stunning on! It will make a wonderful addition to any collection or a Great Gift! Hickok 733A Gold - Calibrated & Everything Within Specs Works Great Late Version
Hickok 733A Gold- Calibrated& Everything Within Specs Works Great Late Version Hickok 733A Tube Tester Later Version that is Gold Anodized dated 1963 This later model has a calibration adjustment pot that can be seen in the pictures that is not on the earlier 533A testers. There are no resistor spools on this newer version 533A and it has precision resistors. A copy of the manual for this tester is included that includes calibration instructions and other important adjustment and information not included in the original manual. The schematic, and operating instructions. There is an abundance of available information including tube data available at no charge at Bama and elsewhere for Hickok 533A. Went through all the calibration steps and checked all the voltage specifications and they were all virtually perfect. Plate voltage. Bias voltages ... moreat 100, 75, 50, and 22, signal voltage, screen and low screen voltage, filament voltages and checked with 6l6 loaded, shorts test, and calibration tubes. The picture with the DMM is showing the line voltage for a 6L6 set at 6.3 volts, and with the 6L6 in the socket the line voltage reads 6.2 volts which is exactly where it should be which is an additional calibration procedure that is included with the manual. The line voltage being correct is critical to obtain proper Gm test results. Many Hickok testers can still be calibrated, but with a tube in the socket the line voltage drops under 6 volts and you get low Gm test readings. Tested a 6L6 calibration tube that tests with the exact Gm as the tube and a 6AX7 with that also tests with the exact Gm on both sections of the tube at 1440& 1400 Gm that are pictured. The meter is nice and not cluttered with unnecessary numbers making it easy to read the correct Gm or Good/Bad. This 533A also has the noise test which is something that anyone testing tubes for their amps may want to get used to using in order to weed out noisy tubes that test good. Vintage Hickok Camera Light Exposure Meter Possibly WWII WW2 Era Near Mint
In the early days of light-meter manufacture(at least in the US) The leaders weren't the major camera manufacturers, they were companies that made electrical equipment like Weston and General Electric. Hickok was another electric instrument manufacturer. And they were once a big name in test equipment, they made some great instruments. This was their last attempt at making a light meter. It came out during the end World War II. It got its name because it supposedly"duplicated" the 46° field of view that a normal camera lens has. Somehow that was supposed to give you a better average reading. The meter is in the center and the dial rotates around it. The dial is a big and the numbers are fairly easy to read. But very complicated to look at. It's the kind of calculator dial that was fine once people figured it out, but ... morewasn't something you just pick up and start using immediately. This gem is in near MINT condition. With the only drawbacks being a bit of greening around the brass snaps, which is easy to remove, but some people like the patina, so I've left things as they are. The other is that one of the spec sheets has been glued in, but it appears to have been with water-base glue, so again, it should be easy to remove, though again, it's part of the meter's history, so I've left things as is. This item has been honestly described. Comes from a non-smoking home, and I can not take returns. Please know that you want this item. I'm beginning this super low, you all know what a vintage item like this is worth. I have over 1000 transactions and 2 negative feedbacks: One from a man who would not complete the sale and then did. The other was from a man who asked that his sale be canceled, which I did, and when I relisted the item, he demanded a $50 discount or he would leave negative feedback, which he did. Hickok Cardmatic CY-3873/USM-118A
Out of a friend's estate and up for auction is a Hickok Cardmatic tube tester. It blows the line fuse when turned on and it has been determined that the main power transformer is shorted and thus needs to be replaced. Not the transformer that supplies the voltages for all of the tube sockets-the other one. It is the one that is in the upper left hand corner of the picture that shows the underside of the tester. It is unknown if there is anything else wrong with the tester. But I did lift the leads going to the meter and, checked with a Fluke digital ohm meter got a reading of 259 ohms. Hickok 6000A Tube Tester/Checker Works Well and Nice
This is a working Hickok 6000A Tube tester. It's in pretty nice condition overall. Outside has the usual scrapes and tears, inside has far less blemishes. The meter lens is cracked as seen in pics but does not interfere with operation and looks worse in the pic than in person, the grid cap lead has a chip out of the side but works as it should. The handle was broken but repaired with a super strong aircraft glue and is holding solid, at the same time I reinforced the inside of the box with aircraft glue and it is nice and solid. The corners have loose fabric that will probably glue down nicely but I don't have glue to suit that purpose. I did check the calibration and everything is within factory specs according to sources online. I do not have a manual for this tube tester but it can be downloaded for free on the web. I do have a ... moreprinted copy of the updated tube chart that are not listed on the roll. The roll chart works well but does get tight near the ends. If you are not familiar with these tube testers I highly recommend that you download a free copy online; this tester will probably do far more testing than you think. This is a mutual conductance tube tester. But will also function as a simple emissions tester, diode tester and transistor tester. This item will be double boxed for shipping and fully insured. Supreme or Hickok TV7/U Test Set Antique Radio Tube Tester
From a closed stereo/hi fi store comes this Supreme TV7/U tube tester. The tester does work when powered up. There are no manuals or test leads but these are available online. Using the chart from a TV7/U Hickok tester and testing a 6F6 tube the readings were within 4 or 5 points being the same. The meter glass is clean the movement is smooth and precise in its action. The control knobs are all present and in good condition and the controls turn smoothly. The panel is clean as seen in the photos. Some of the screws that hold the unit in the case at the edges are missing. The outer paint on the case is scuffed and scratched a bit and there are a few very minor dents but no major damage or corrosion. Please see all the photos as they give the details. Hickok Model 539A Tube Tester, calibrated, yes!
nice. Restored Hickok 539A the Caddilac of mutual conductance lab-grade tube testers. If you are looking at this, you know what it is and how nice it is! This one has been nicely cleaned up with most of the tube sockets replaced with brand new sockets(4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 7, 8, octal) and the others replaced with very good but used sockets. All resistors checked and replaced were needed, and caps replaced as well. Calibrated, this comes with a copy of the users manual, and has been rewired for safe operation with a modern 3-prong AC plug. Please feel free to ask questions.

Hickok 547A Military Tube Tester- Calibrated- All Within Specs- Upgraded Hickok 547A Military Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester In a heavy-duty metal case. NOS Tung Sol JAN 5Y3GT, and as good as new RCA JAN 83 mercury rectifier. Has and upgraded three-prong power cord, and some new capacitors and new resistors. The tube data chart is dated 1954 and is in great condition and moves freely. Plate voltage is 152, signal voltage is 5 VAC, and 1 VAC on low. Bias voltage is 40.2@ 100, 26.3@ 75, 13.6 on 50, and 3.0@ 22. Screen voltage is 134 VDC. Filament voltage with 6l6 in the socket is 6.3, and checked Gm with calibration tube of 5900 Gm and this 547A tested the tube with the exact Gm right on the original red dot on the dial. Operation instructions are on the inside of the lid. Information on this tester can be located using the Hickok TV-3* ... moreand is widely available at Bama and elsewhere at no charge.
