This is a JDSU/Acterna/Wavetek CLI-1450 Cable TV RF Signal Level Meter. This diagnostic device is normally used by video installers to test the integrity of coaxial cables used for television signal transmission. This same unit is branded by JDSU. Acterna and Wavetek- they are all the same unit. Unit is in good condition with scuffs and marks from normal field usage. Unit properly powers on. Display looks to be in good shape and all buttons are working properly. I was able to navigate through various menus and view/change settings as well. There's one line at the top of the display that sometimes does not immediately appear when the unit is turned on, although within a minute of using the device it appears normally. Please note that this unit includes a rechargeable battery. The battery is used therefore there are no guarantees on battery ... morelife or longevity. This auction is for a Videotek 141A demodulator. It works fine and shows good video and audio. It has two BNC-based video outputs and stereo audio outputs using XLR type connectors. The Videotek 141A demodulator can be used as an analog tuner which includes demodulation of channel 2/3/4 of old retro computer or gaming consoles. It takes a RF input from VCR/Atari 400/800/2600/Pong C140/etc. systems and gives a clear audio/video output on the TV. It allows setting of channel and selecting the various types of signals- TV/Cable/etc. This will convert the RF signal from an Atari 2600. 5200, 400, 800, XL, XE, VCR, Commodore 64, C-140 Atari Pong, etc. to separate audio and composite video for hooking up to modern TVs that take A/V input. Which is a skin button, is indented and looks like might be non functional. I included a charged battery that is not the best in the world, but was charged and is holding over 8VDC, for your testing. There were some in the large lot of equipment that came in that had repair tags on them, but I threw them away and kept this one, which had no repair tags on it and looked a little better and might function just fine. Lot of 2-Tektronix CableScout TV220 TDR Cable Tester TV-220 Plus Meter
Lot of 2-Tektronix CableScout TV220 TDR Cable Testers plus a Trilithic cable signal meter. Both TV220s come with the cases and chargers. The Trilithic comes as seen in picture with the charger. We don't use these anymore but from what I was told by our tech the one in the blue case works fine but the screen isn't the greatest. The one in the black case will not hold a charge and needs to be serviced. Screen is bright and perfect on the one in the black case. I do not know much about these so I may or may not be able to answer your questions but I will try. Perfect from a refurbisher or someone who knows more than I do about these.
