Beautiful black lacquer wood serving set of 2 covered stemmed containers with lids and two stemmed liquor cups. Unmarked. One of the containers look as if it has been repaired at the base which I was not able to capture in the pictures. I see a very thin hairline in the base. There is no missing black paint in this area and if it was repaired was done expertly. Containers measure 5" Cups measure 3 1/2" Look as if they could be Russian or Polish pieces. 2 Vintage GLASS CANDY CONTAINERS 1 Log Cabin & 1 Lantern +Handle GREAT CONDITION
Here are two candy glass containers. One is a log cabin oil lamp that has never been used. It is 2 5/8" long on the roof and the log cabin is 2 1/2" tall without the oil lamp top and by it's self it is about 3" tall. It is 2 1/2" across the end at the roof line. The next candy container is a small lantern with a metal lid and skirt with a bail attached. The lantern is 2 1/2" tall without the bail or handle being up and it is 1 1/2 across the bottom with'3 Dr. J. S. Co. plus 2 in the center in raised letters. Both the candy containers are very good to excellent condition with no damage anywhere. I think someone repainted the skirt on the lantern, it should be red like the top but that is an easy fix.
