Vintage 1930 Bell System Longlines 25 Year Service Pin This pin belonged to my Grandfather. Who began working for Bell Telephone in Upstate NY in 1905 at the age of 16. The face of the pin features a figure of winged Mercury holding aloft a fistful of lightning bolts. Superimposed over the word LONGLINES. Surrounding the figure are the words BELL SYSTEM. A chain and additional lightning bolts. SIx of the flanges encircling the pin feature a star. And the top flange has the Roman numerals XXV. For 25 years of service. The pin measures approximately 5/8 of an inch in diameter. And is made of 14K gold. It has a screw type fastener and is stamped 14K on the reverse. Contact seller with questions. This neat old bell measures 5 1/2" tall and is in working condition. The nickel plate is worn off of the button and the acorn shaped striker. There is some high spot wear on the base as well. Edwardian Servants Bell Box, Room Service Indicator - Immaculate
This is a delightful Edwardian Room Service Indicator by Tamplin& Makovski Ltd a very historic company. Who were electrical contractors based Reigate Hight Street in the 1920s& 30's The indicator was removed from a large house prior to demolition for flats. It's in stunning condition, just a little paint to the edges where decorators have touched it and some slight yellowing to the indicator papers as might be expected after 90+ years! It's not been tested but I've no reason to believe that it shouldn't work. Collection would be preferred but it will be very securely packed for shipping.The glass would be easily replaced if broken. From a recent flea market jaunt in Paris. Here's a charming reminder from the late nineteenth century of the way hotel service used to be. It's the metal bell ringer that once sat on the front desk used by a customer or hotel manager to get attention. To judge from the elegant decoration and style of this one, it was used at an upscale hotel, or, just possibly, a bordello: And, several generations later, it still makes a"ding. I bought a large collection of bells that I will be listing on ebay.I usually have a couple of them listed so please be sure to view them all.Nice mechanical brass or bronze bell on fancy base.Patd. info. cast into the bottom of the ringer showing the dates of 1874.It has been polished at some point and still looks very nice. Tap down on the top and it has a nice long clear ring.It looks like the styling of the old cash registers and I have it displayed next to mine to show how it looks.It really enhances the cash register and makes a perfect way to display the bell.It is in nice working condition and has no damage.The size is aprox. 6 1/2" tall.The listed shipping includes insurance and delivery confirmation.Thank you for looking and good luck!

Vintage Gas Service Station DRIVEWAY BELL Signal Ringer
You are bidding on a vintage Gas/Service Station DRIVEWAY BELL. No hose& untested. In used with wear& age spots, light surface rust in places. Solid& sturdy in good shape. The Bell is approx 5 3/4" in diameter& it has a threaded attachment for the hose. The metal attachment plate is approx 10 1/2" x 7" I couldn't find any mfg/brands on it. From an estate I don't know how old it is, selling as found. T hanks for your interest.
