Goes through the different menus without trouble. Make sure the battery is charged, if it loses power completely you have to just set the time and date upon powering it back up. Comes with a car power adapter. Shoulder strap, battery, extra battery, and a carrying case. I have a limited supply of power adapters. So each unit only includes what comes inside its box, and the only power adapter inside this box was one that goes into a car plug.
