Selling a truly great set of pickups from my favorite tele. Probably one of the best sets of pickups I've ever had arrive in a"stock" guitar. Great. Thick, well-defined twang with a 60s character to it. Incredibly rich. After totally loving them and using them on many recordings for 5 years, I took them out and replaced them with some hand-wound Lindy Fralins. which weren't that big of an improvement. Don't need'em anymore! 3-way tele pickup switch is included.

Here we have a 5-way selector switch from the Shaller company in Germany. Know for their quality craftsmanship.This is set up like a PRS 5 way switch in which case when you have 2 humbuckers in your guitar the 2 and 4 positions are wired to one coil of the bridge or the neck so you can still get single coil sounds when needed. Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Epiphone Valve Jr. A version 2(green board) in excellent condition. I have done some very nice tone mods for this. Important caps and resistors in the signal path have been changed out with higher quality parts and better values for improved tone range and gain. These changes have greatly improved the overall response of the amp. After checking out a few options with different tube combinations for optimum tone and depth. I went with a pair of Sovtek tubes. Finally. I added in a version of a 3 way gain switch. With the tone mods I did this is somewhat modified. But from the bottom to top position, the level of overdrive is greatly enhanced. But why do all the tone mods if you leave in the extremely whimpy output transformer? I put in a new Hammond 125ESE output transformer(15 watts) With a nice power ... moreresistor to hold in the transformers effect, and there is now much more the bottom-end which is so missing from the stock version– like adding meat to the broth. The amp now sounds amazing in my 1x12 or my Marshall 4x12. Much louder and with more tonal range than the stock version. Why try and figure out how to do this yourself when it has been done for you with good parts and technique. I include a photo showing the new transformer with the back panel off. Original vintage 60's / 70's Sound City Hiwatt power / standby toggle switch.
Up for auction is a vintage 1960's or 1970's power/standby switch for a Sound City or Hiwatt amp. It was pulled out of a Sound City 120 head that was being parted out after being damaged(the switch was NOT damaged in any way) This is a British made switch by the UK company Arcolectric. This switch is super high quality and has a great feel. This switch is used. But it's been fully tested and is 100% functional. It has a bit a solder on the contact points, but obviously this can be easily removed prior to installation. Not much else to say. If you're seeing this, you need it! Good luck and happy bidding!

Maestro Sound System For Woodwinds w/ Case-Switch W-3 Guitar Synth Amazing! 1 2; WORLD SHIPPING! Excellent cosmetic condition and working order; All channels(clave. Bass, treble, and bypass) function fantastic, which is very rare to find one of these in such great working and cosmetic condition. Very little pitting on metal faceplate and keys look fantastic as well, no cracks or chips in those. The tremolo is nice, not overwhelming like a Vox Repeat Percussion but does add a nice characteristic to the sound. This really shines on Monophonic Synths and guitar(with a clean boost or overdrive applied to the front end, i use an EHX LPB-1(25 dollars used) to great effect. You can coax more sounds out of this unit than the Maestro Rhythm N' Sound even, the tracking and blend is truly amazing for a unit so old. This one is the final and best(W-3) ... moreof the Maestro Sound System units. Does not include woodwind pickup(i believe this version it was not included with the unit) but any standard Mic will be the correct impedance.
