Vintage Uniline 4-gang wall plate, ivory, for light switches, NOS
One vintage. New old stock, Uniline four gang wall plate, for standard toggle switches. This plate was made by Bryant, probably sometime in the fifties, and is in the classic Uniline ribbed style. It's still in the original paper wrapper, and has the original screws to go with it. Larger wall plates in this style are quite hard to find, as it was uncommon for there to be more than two devices at any location, particularly in houses but also in commercial buildings. Four gang plates are even harder to come by, unused ones rarer still! This plate is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or scratches, and is a lovely creamy ivory color. This would be a great finishing touch to a mid century home restoration, or a retro-styled office or store(although I think Uniline plates just look neat anywhere!

They are unique in that the face of the switches are round and the brass plates have a round hole to accommodate the switch! There are a 8 brass screws included. Switches have porcelain housing. Although one doesn't have a solid click(it's loose and I put a black dot on it) There is paint on some of the switches. Vintage. New old stock, Sierra Electric model#5001 mercury light switches, 15 amp. These are new old stock, still in the original boxes, and date probably from the later 50's or early 60's. Mercury switches were designed to give a silent action, and these are true to form with a smooth action on the toggles from ON to OFF. The handles are a creamy ivory color and are perfect. Mercury switches went out of fashion in the 70's, and most new light switches are the snap-to-close design, however these old switches are still popular for their silent action. The boxes show some wear and fading from storage, but they will still display well with bright colors and cool graphics, if that's important to you. Vintage Uniline single gang wall plates, for light switches, ivory, NOS
These are vintage Uniline wall plates. In a single gang size for standard toggle light switches. Uniline plates were manufactured from the fifties through the sixties or early seventies(I'm not sure, offhand) and feature the classic ribbed pattern. These plates are new old stock, still in the original wrappers, although the plastic on many of them has gotten brittle with age and cracked. These were removed from my house with the intention of restoring but I never got round to it, so I am looking for someone with more time and expertise to take them! The bakelite is used. Awesome antique/vintage double gooseneck lamp This light is rare in that the turn switches on cones are wood with a very Retro/Mod shape Base and stem are a shiny brass color; cones are a brushed silvery-ash-brass color Base measures 6.5" across and is very heavy; cones measure roughly 5.5" across at openings and they are perforated for a neat lighting effect Total height of lamp is approx. 16.5" Lamp shows quite a bit of age/wear& scratching to metal parts(please see photos) and bottom underside felt cover is gone But.
