Berchtold Teletom 700 Motorized Operating Room Power Boom Platform This Berchtold OR Boom is a top of the line unit. It is NICE and it doesn’t look like it will take much to get it up and running. Originally purchased in 2004 for a St. Louis MO childrens hospital operating room. I spoke with the manufacturer and the original cost was over $20.000. Currently it is securely mounted upside down to the original pallet as seen in the listing pictures. It is large and heavy and mounts to the OR Ceiling. Berchtold technical support advised me this is a current model being manufactured. They also told me the engineering and technical support needed to mount this device in a operating room is available. Technical support also stated these booms are modular and can be upgraded to include OR lighting and equipment shelving. I see the Berchtold website ... morehas a full line of Teletom upgrades available. On the face of the control panel is two CO2 regulators. Two vacuum ports, 9 electrical outlets and the power boom controls. There are plenty of blanks for additional features. All the communication cables, electrical cables and supply lines are intact. The ceiling mounting plate is good and also included are the cosmetic covers for the ceiling plate and boom ends. According to my measurements this boom has a 7 ½ foot reach from center. This unit weighs 368 lbs and will require freight shipping. I have set the freight calculator for 500 lbs and will be wrapped and shipped on the pallet in the pictures. To give you some idea…it will cost approximately $175.00 for west coast locations and approximately$500.00 for east coast locations.
