Up for your consideration I have a water canteen CS HOSP? DEPT 1862. Does not have a strap or a stopper. Could be brass? It weights just a little over 1 lb, size is approximately 6" by 5" I also have 3 belt buckles. One says CSA, size is 2 1/2" by 3" The back of it reads" Robert E. Lee, 1864 Army of Virginia, CSA. The one with an eagle is stamped 1862 in the back and the size is 3 2/8" by 2 1/8" The smaller one reads CS and the back is stamped 1862 wiith a letter P inside of a circle. it measures approximately 2 1/2" x 1 7/8" There is also 6 buttons. One reads C, one reads A, Two have an eagle and have a 1 or I on the eagle chest, the back of them reads" Waterbury Co. INC Conn. One reads CSA and Waterbury Co. INC Conn. on the back. One button looks like a person standing and the other seating ... moredown. The other two are larger than buttons and have a star in the front and the letter ASTEX. One looks like a nail, the other one is missing the nail part, the back of them shows a P in a circle. All of theses items can be reproduction. Vintage Our Lady of Fatima Holy Water Glass Bottle Canteen Lembrance Portugal
The pictures do not do justice to this piece. It is a heavier glass bottle used for Holy Water. I have not cleaned it out. It measures 6 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/2" It has Lembrance De Fatima on one side. The Portuguese translation is Souvenir or remembrance of Fatima. The glass has no chips or cracks. I was told that this is a rare piece because it was not sold. Large Swedish Army 1941 wool pants and canteen water bottle WWII Era
1941 crown marked Swedish Army wool pants. In usable wearable shape with a small burn hole and small tear on lower leg see pictures. Missing leather leg straps. Comes with wool covered canteen as shown. Waist measures 19 1/2" to 20" across laid flat buttoned so a little under 40" waist. Has metal fly and suspender buttons and plastic pocket buttons. I don't see any markings on the canteen but looks like same color as pants.

MID-LATE 1800s OLIVER/ITALIAN PATTERN WOODEN WATER BOTTLE CANTEEN BRITISH ISSUE
A BRITISH ARMY ITEM FROM THE 4th QUARTER OF THE 19th CENTURY. VARIOUSLY DESCRIBED AS THE'Oliver Pattern' The'Italian Pattern' and the Mark II. Roughly 7&1/2" tall and 4&1/2" wide. Truly a remarkable piece! Wooden screw cap still fits tightly. The hand-forged joint of the metal top ring is clearly visible in the back. Ring still fits tightly. Back of the canteen has an'X' inside an oval(see pictures) This likely was the owner's personalization. There is a small crack at bottom of the back which would be almost completely covered by the bottom metal ring if it were present. Unfortunately the bottom iron ring is gone.
