They incorporated the features professional climbers found most desirable over the years. I believe the sleeve length on these is fixed. This set of spikes has a cushioned and padded leather inner leg for maximum comfort. The spikes seem to be about 2 1/4 inches. The top foot straps and lower ankle strap have several adjustment holes for a good fit. Klein offer a unique climbing experience. Thse gaffs are prefered by many experienced climbers.
