This is a really nice old antique marked Crockett Horse Bit complete with rein chains-the silver is all good and the 1-1/2 in. wide side conchos have some minor dents in them-the bit is 5-1/8 in. wide-8 in. long cheek-10-1/2 in. rein chains-marked inside the cheek(see photo) this is an old very collectible bit and will look great in an old Cowboy headstall-thanks for looking.

This is a Lot of six(6) Antique Victorian Decorative Chains of varying length and condition and one good 7" more modern lock bracelet(no key) The first item shown on the left side in the first picture is a 42" chain finished off with a gold tone hook dangling a square horeshoe and pearl charm. The second item shown in the first picture on the right is a 48" chain finished off with a hook/clasp. The third item shown on the left side of the second picture s a 48" gold tone chain finished off with a hook/clasp. The fourth item shown on the right side of the second picture is a 7" modern gold tone bracelet having a lock as the clasp(no key) and dangling from a silver chain a red stone and a small silver charm. The Danes used the pin to demonstrate against the German occupation. There is two versions of the pin. This one from 1945 and another one from 1940 to celebrate the King's 70 years birthday. In Danish is is called a Kongemaerke. King Chistians X' mark on the front side on the Danish flag enamel, crown above. On the back GJ-stamp and 925 for sterling silver. 25 millimeter x 14 millimeter. There are large arrangements in the centre of the cloth contained in a zigzag frame. There are additional flowers along each side and in each corner which are also framed by zigzag bands. Forming a broad border around the cloth. The overall look is very effective indeed. The cloth is finished with a neatly sewn hem. Thank you for stopping by I found these alarms in a bucket in the barn ~ each was carefully wrapped in newspaper from 1989. That is really all I know about them ~ They have some instructions on the backs about how they need to be rewound after being tested(SEE BELOW) I wound them all up(except for the electric one) and they all went off just like they should and they all have a working on/off lever for the bell. Three of the alarms have long chains on the lever ~ three alarms have no chains. One of the alarms has an electric wire so I couldn't test it. They are all pretty heavy ~ almost 4 pounds each. Recently we ran across a box that had been in storage over 15 years and had several unusual very old bits and some spurs as well. It was purchased from a man that at one time owned Foxwood Saddlery and he had purchased a lot of old bits and spurs from warehouse in England that made bits and spurs for Buermann and North and Judd. The company name if I remember correctly was Mainson and Sons. I was promised a copy of the catalog(I saw it and was in the 1800's) but never got a copy I am sad to say. This stunning lot features a wide. Fifteen strand, light chain necklace, and an Egyptian style, blue clay, scarab pendant. Layered necklace: It measures 4" wide in the front and the entire necklace is about 21" 30" around with a 2" extender. Pendant: It measures 2 1/2" from the top center and the entire necklace is about 22" around. My boyfriend and I ran a curiosities shop in Laguna Beach. California for many years. VINTAGE SILVER BIT HUGE CONCHOS W/ REIN CHAINS NICE WEIGHT AND MOUTH LOW RESERVE
This is another really nice vintage silver bit that is great for collecting and using too! This has a Santa Maria shank with a large cut out. This is advantageous in making the bit a little lighter, and adding another point of interest to catch the eye. This has a very large and ornate concho on each side of the mouthpiece. These are domed conchos, and add some really nice depth to the bit.This is closer to a fixed jaw than a loose one, there is just a little play there. The shank measures just under 6" from the mouth. So will be favorable for all good bridle horses. The mouth is a true 5" copper hooded California half breed with an inset lg. textured copper roller. A little more severity here just based on the height of the port, but overall widely usable and well balanced. The slobber bar is also fully engraved. There are no condition ... moreissues to report. And I would say this is a much older bit. It also comes with a set of vintage rein chains that are currently attached. These are easily removed if the new owner wishes to do that. There is no maker's mark, or identifying number on this one, but it is like quality to the Garcia's that we have been listing recently. Please ask questions prior to bidding.
