It really is quite lovely with chains of crystals and one large faceted round prism hanging from the bottom. It mounts flush to the ceiling and is in very good condition. Things You Should Know: This is a flush mount light fixture that was installed in 1964. Dimensions: 12-1/2" x 8-1/2" to bottom of large prism) Weight: Approximately 7 lbs. We do not do re-wiring. This fixture was working when removed and you might be able to install without re-wiring but be aware re-wiring may be needed. I did replace one chain of prisms. Or fluid burners, one is very"UNIQUE" Both burners are made of pewter, have perfect threaded fitters, brass chains, with attached pewter flame snuffers, and their original pewter font collars. OK, 1st photo, left burner: This UNIQUE burner has a brass wick tube, with a brass wick tube extension. If needed this extension allows the wick and flame to be way above the font. Champhine was explosive. This extension appears to be a safety device. The threaded fitter is smaller than a No.1, it could be a 0. There is an old wick. Next piece has a No.1 size fitter and a tin wick tube. Both early burners are solid, and in great condition. Removed from a lamp collector's home. Euro Asia Imports EAI 18T fixed gear track cog sprocket with 2 chains 1/2"x3/32"
Here's a Euro Asia Imports(EAI) track cog that comes with 2 SRAM PC48 chains. For use on track bikes or fixed gear bikes. 18 teeth. ISO threaded, made in USA. Will thread on to track hubs and normal freewheel hubs. Sized 1/2"x3/32" which means it works with derailleur chains. Will work on any derailleur chain from 5-speed up to 9-speed chains. Will likely work on 10-speed chains as well as I believe the inner width is still compatible. Not sure about 11-speed chains as I have no experience with them. Will also work with 1/8" chains, which are used on track bikes, BMX, 3-speeds, and cruisers. I am including 2 used SRAM PC48 8-speed chains that will work perfectly with this cog. The cog is used. But has many thousands of miles left in it. Unlike the paper-thin cogs used on cassettes, these track cogs are thick with full-sized ... moreteeth and seem to go on forever. There is some wear on the outside of every other tooth from the inner chain link plates rubbing on the sides. This is only cosmetic wear and doesn't affect the usability of the cog. It is the tooth profile that matters. When cogs wear, they develop a hook profile. This cog doesn't show any of that wear, thus will perform as well as new. Since the cog has an even number of teeth. The inner and outer chain links always ran on the same teeth. Sheldon Brown had theorized that these cogs would go forever if the inner and outer links always ran on the same teeth. I decided to try this and always kept the orientation the same. The new owner can either continue with this experiment, or not worry about it and use the cog normally. EAI cogs are some of the best you can buy. They are full width for long life. Threads are cut full width as well. Cheaper stamped cogs have fewer threads and those threads are not as precisely cut. Using cheap cogs can lead to stripped hubs. This cog's full thread engagement will not strip your hub's threads no matter how powerful you are!
