I only used it twice for a total of maybe 1 hour- once to remove a widows maker in a Birch, and once to prune an Oak over the winter. I haven't done any climbing since so I am selling some of my gear. The Rebellion harness is only sold through TreeStuff and is a"Liger" that is built by Buckingham in the United States. It has the body of a Buckingham Viking/Buckcat/Puma with the same bridge and rigging plates as the Ergovation. The leg straps use ISC buckles. Also like the Ergovation. The best part about this harness is you can replace the bridge for about $4 as opposed to the $50+ for t he Viking/Buckcat/Puma. You can also lengthen or shorten the bridge to your liking. I left the bridge exactly how it came from the factory. This saddle is size"S" which. According to Buckingham, fits 28-32" waists. I have a 32" waist and find that I use the middle adjustment. I am including a brand new pair of Buckingham suspenders as well as a 4' section of Samson Velocity rope(same rope used for the bridge) You can use this as a replacement when the original wears out or play around with different bridge lengths. I paid a total of $334 for everything here: $280 for the harness. $50 for the suspenders, and $4 for the extra bridge. Original box and instructions are included. VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM CLIMBING TREE POLE UTILITY BELT SAFETY BELT D-99 USED
Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. This auction is for a pair of W.H. Buckingham. Mfg Co. Binghamton, NY tree climbing spikes with belt and climbing rope. Spikes are marked with maker along with" LC-5 15 IN 425-Phila 45-55" Leather straps attached to them are in fair aged and used condition with waring to them. Straps are marked with Buckingham. Only tearing I can see is slight to the buckle holes. More like leather cracking or seperating. Belt is in fair condition with no tears to it or fraying. It has 2 metal loops which the climbing rope attaches to. They are in fair shape with sign of use but no cracks. Climbing rope is in fair used condition with little fraying. more like rope being scuffed slightly. Clips on rope are in fair condition and clip properly with clip springs tight. Used Buckingham linesman tree climbing gaffs klein electrical bag 2 belts & more
I have for auction this large group of used linesman climbing gaffs and belts and other electrical climbing equipment. The Gaffs are marked buckingham. They are Catalog model 9227 they are good and solid and the point is sharp. the points have been protected. the previous owner has the spring action point caps. There are two belts. One is marked klein burke and the second belt is unmarked there is a climbing rope and other items I don't have a clue of their functions. If I had to rate the leather I would say the leather is average minus condition. the straps are canvas, so I know they are in good used condition. The leather will need to be cleaned and tung oiled. the klein bag is in good used condition. it is stained, but has no tears. the other bag has a little tear by one of the hang hooks. Offered is a vintage BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 42" long to the end hole and 34" to the tightest hole; there are nine holes each an inch apart; however, I wear a 38" belt, and this belt is tight on me probably because of the very thick leather. The condition is used but quite good and has some wear on the edges of the belt. It is marked on a green metal tag with BUCKINGHAM Size 22, Date 897, P/N ER. Also included is a heavy canvas bag 8" x 9" x 2" with straps for fastening to the belt and an outside pocket. This bag is cotton, made in India, and is reinforced at the bottom with a suede type leather. This belt is a very usable safety belt, sold as is, and MADE IN THE U.S.A. Double thick cotton webbing reinforced w 1 3/4" nylon on back and seat sections, leather lined 1 3/4" grommeted leg straps, 1 3/4" steel ring and accessory snap on each side. The 3120 Rivet-less pad with a built in tunnel design. A soft leather is used against the leg. All leather construction with 3/4" padding. Military issue adjustable climbers 9209-G with both sets of spurs both long and short. The bolts to fasten the spurs are still in the manilla envelope fastened to the box the long spurs came in. Climbers themselves are adjustable in length and are padded at the upper pad. Leather could use some conditioner but they are in good condtion. Up for auction is a vintage collection of lineman gear. It consists of a Bell System belt made by Klein-Buhrke. There is also a climbing strap made by by Klein tools. There are two climbing spikes. Upon close inspection I see they are made by different makers, but they are essentially the same, and are the same size. One is made by W.H. Buckingham Rebellion Tree Saddle Harness Ergovation Viking Puma Cougar Climbing
I am selling my Buckingham Rebellion saddle. It is in new condition and is free of any rips. Tears or stains. If I didn't tell you I used it, you would think it is brand new. I only used it twice for a total of maybe 1 hour- once to remove a widows maker in a Birch, and once to prune an Oak over the winter. I haven't done any climbing since so I am selling some of my gear. The Rebellion harness is only sold through TreeStuff and is a"Liger" that is built by Buckingham in the United States. It has the body of a Buckingham Viking/Buckcat/Puma with the same bridge and rigging plates as the Ergovation. The leg straps use ISC buckles. Also like the Ergovation. The best part about this harness is you can replace the bridge for about $4 as opposed to the $50+ for t he Viking/Buckcat/Puma. You can also lengthen or shorten the bridge ... moreto your liking. I left the bridge exactly how it came from the factory. This saddle is size"S" which. According to Buckingham, fits 28-32" waists. I have a 32" waist and find that I use the middle adjustment. I am including a brand new pair of Buckingham suspenders as well as a 4' section of Samson Velocity rope(same rope used for the bridge) You can use this as a replacement when the original wears out or play around with different bridge lengths. I paid a total of $334 for everything here: $280 for the harness. $50 for the suspenders, and $4 for the extra bridge. Original box and instructions are included.
