Clinton model 498
This clinton 498 is very similar looking to the b1290 that is used in wheel horse wheelhorse RJ garden tractors. Engine does not have spark and I believe a valve is stuck but stuck valves are an easy fix it happens a lot when an engine is left unused for a period of time. This does have 1 small bolt broken off in the head it is the one that holds on the head cooling tin see picture and bid accordingly. If this engine does not sell complete I will take it apart and sell it in pieces so if you want it complete bid now.

OLDS 4-1/2 Hp hit and miss gas engine mfg by R. E. Olds. Type A square hopper, unrestored, needs work. Reproduction carb, check valve, crankguard, nametag, muffler. Has had a chunk knocked out of the rear base, below the crankguard. The flywheel size is 24" rather than the standard 28-1/4" indicating an earlier model engine. It does have a pin on the crank main bearing cap, indicating it originally had a fuel pump there. Later OLDS did not use a fuel pump. Rather using a double check valve on the fuel line as this would now be set up. Shown without the base under it. I have the base/gas tank for it. Selling the Olds engine only. One on each side and one in the front. This usable conversation piece was at an estate sale and they were ironing pillow cases to show that it is 100% operational. The iron heats. Patented Jan 1. 1867 These Antique Sawmill Rollers were only made for a brief time with the Tapering Journals. The Rollers are 5" inch's in Diameter and about 3/4" thick. Looks to be nearly all original(the spark plugs may be replacements) and appears to have good compression! Serial number stamped at an angle on flywheel end is 840829. Placing it in the first couple production months of 1938. This engine has not been altered in any way, it is as found and as shown. I do not see any cracks or breaks. It appears solid and sound. Up for your consideration is this BARN FRESH Maytag model 31 Hit/miss gas engine. This has a kick start and appears to be mostly complete. I don't know anything about these types of engines so please refer to the pictures and make your own judgment. I did notice the spark plug and a muffler or something are missing. The big wheel has pressure but does still spin so it's not seized up. Great restoration project! Hasn't seen the light of day in many many years! Vintage Maytage Model- 72 Engine S.N.109396 Twin Cylinder, Running.
Selling this as is. Picked it up at a yard sale, I don't know anything about this kind of engine.It looks to be complete except for the muffler.It is also in need of spark plug wires.I think the one spark might be orignal, it looks like it is made of brass, it is a Motorcraft brand.When I first got the engine I couldn't get it running, so I took one of the plugs out to see if it had spark, gave it a couple of cranks and it started with one plug missing.It does run as you can see in pictures 8-9-10.The slant# on the flywheel is 915261. The motor weight is 51 lb's, the box is 23x13x13 and ships from zip 17052, maybe this would be cheaper for you. We ship only in the U.S.A. Old Original Atwood Castle 120 Brass Era Car Auto Side Light Horseless Carriage
This is a very hard to find original brass Atwood Castle Model 120 sidelight for an early brass era automobile. It is in remarkably excellent condition for being over 100 years old! It has some very minor wear and dings and also some minor brass fatigue on the second tier of the chimney. The round glass and the red jewel are in great shape. The door opens as it should. It is marked Atwood Castle. Amesbury, Massachusetts on the top. The burner seems to be in great shape. The brass is in overall good condition and this is a VERY nice light that could be used just the way it is! It stands about 10 inches tall. These certainly don't turn up very often and they are usually only good for parts. This is a great survivor.
