Running 3hp Cushman Cub Engine...Non Original Magneto...See Video
For sale. A running Cushman Cub 3hp engine. The engine was restored at some point before I got it, and the original magneto has been replaced with another. I think that it is from a Wisconsin engine, but I am not sure. A previous owner has put a sprocket on the crankshaft to run the magneto. I have included several pictures of this different magneto and bracket, as a picture can explain it much better than I could. The engine runs, and it should only need a little tinkering to get it show ready. I will load this onto a pickup or truck at no charge. I can ship it via Fastenal at the buyers expense. The magneto was just rebuilt by a local professional and is hot. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. See video of the engine running

An Antique Toy Steam Engine in"as found" condition. This made in Germany piece was recently acquired from a large collection. I'm selling my maytag 92 engine. It has been TOTALLY restored. It's been completely dismantled. Sand blasted and painted. Put back together with new rings, cylinder honed, crank bearings, and new rod. It also has new plug and wire and the rubber in the wire holder is new. Reconditioned points new condenser. Rebuild carb. And a brass bolt kit, new decals, new model plate, brass pull and plug grounder( not sure its called that but you know what I mean) It's also been mounted on some wood. It runs great. 5HP SAXON --Runs , Nice Webster
5 HP SAXON. Complete, runs good, GREEN paint. I have the large cast iron pulley as well. The original crank is also included. I put gas in the carb and ran it for a few minutes. Saxons are not scarce engines as I have seen quite a few. The 5 hp however is a different size that is very un-common. Turns out I have 2! Flywheels are true. There is a repair on the trip arm on the mag bracket and a repair on the head shown in the pictures. These are the only items I am aware of that have been fixed or repaired. Casting weakness on the hopper. Also seen in the pics. The tag on the side says SAXON and is a Bracket. Shaw& Lunt tagged engine. Serial numbers on both of the tags match. Old Barnes Brass Cylinder Water Pump Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a really neat original Barnes hand water pump. It was made by the Barnes Manufacturing Company in Mansfield. Ohio. It stands about 21 inches tall and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a brass pump cylinder that would polish up nicely! Everything moves as it should. Old Sunlight Generator Briggs WMB Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Magneto WOW
This is a really neat and unusual Sunlight 110 volt portable generator. It was made by the Sunlight Electrical Manufacturing Company in Warren. Ohio. It has a Briggs and Stratton WMB engine on it for power. The engine is kick start and turns over nicely with great compression. The generator turns over nicely and seems to be in good condition. It is missing one of the doors on the back side but the other one is there for a pattern to reproduce one. The original gas tank is there and is in decent shape with a couple of small dings. Surprisingly the engine has it's original muffler which is almost never seen! I think with just a little cleaning this could be a running setup. I personally have never seen another one but I'm sure there's a few out there. Maytag 72 Twin Gas Engine, 2 Maytag Champion Plugs, Eisemann Boots Hit & Miss
This is a Maytag two stroke-cycle twin cylinder gasoline engine that originally powered a Maytag wringer washing machine in 1946. The owner probably got rural power soon after that and electrified his wife's washing machine and saved this cute little engine inside somewhere. This fine original engine turns over and has compression but I never tried to make it run. It originally hung from the bottom of the washing machine. Someone made the crude wood enclosure it is still in in order to make it run and possibly use if for some chore on the farm. I bought this engine and muffler for $40 at an antique shop just east of Lewistown Montana back in 1976. I remember driving my 1975 Corvette convertible at that time and had quite a time figuring out how to haul this engine home in that car. I knew I just had to have it because it came with the ... moreoriginal muffler and even had both of the original Maytag script Champion spark plugs in it as well as both of the original Eisemann rubber spark plug boots intact. Both of the decals are original and are still quite nice considering that they are almost 70 years old. Kubota D750 diesel engine. This engine came in with a load from auction and I have no history or information. There was a tag that says 453 Bobcat. There is no starter so I have no way to test it. It feels like it has compression. But I don't know how much without having something to compare it to as far as how hard it turns. I am selling it for parts or repair due to the fact I cannot test. I don't use the term very often but this is a very rare original sign advertising International Harvester Mogul Kerosene Tractors. It measures about 13 3/4 x 19 7/8 inches. It is stamped steel with raised letters and is 100% original. It has a few extra holes in it. A notch in the lower right corner, and some light scratches and creasing from it's years of service but still displays very proudly with great color. It was made by the Cross Press and Sign Company in Chicago. It came from a dealer in Hamlet, Indiana, many years ago. It would be a fantastic addition to your early IHC advertising collection especially if you have an early Mogul tractor! Certain elusive pieces like this rarely come up for sale and are usually traded between collectors without any public exposure and there's a good chance that this is a once in a lifetime ... moreopportunity. There are only a few things that have escalated in value more than good original advertising signs in the past few years and the trend is likely to continue. hercules power unit c. 1930 6 cylinder
Hercules power unit. About 320 cubic inch six. Doesn't run but turns over with starter. one valve sticks. It will open but must be pushed shut with stick. Clutch is free and works. Exhaust manifold is beyond repair. Intake and carb are with it. I put the plate on the side to contain lubricating oil in valvetrain in order to soak it before freeing it up. I haven't checked the waterpump or magneto. Worthy project, or use housing and clutch with your running engine. I think this is about 1930 as it uses model A ford sparkplugs.

I Have Only Seen A couple Others, This One being the most complete, Better Condition! This Has A serial Number Of IN2776 It uses A Wico Ignition System. The Kick Peddal& Starting Ratchet Looks Like that Of A Briggs& Stratton WMB But They Do not seem to Interchange. This Is Loose. Has Compression, is Complete with the Exhaust& Muffler, It Still Has Most Of its Original Paint, There are Only ... more2 things That I know of That Are wrong With this, Both Being Showed in the pictures: 1. Is A chipped Fin On The cylinder 2. There is A small Little Handle that is missing Off the end of the choke. But Hardly Noticable, Effects Nothing. I have never Had this running& Have really Never messed with it. It has Just been An Interesting Addition To My Collection. Vintage Dempster Burr Grinder - Corn Mill Hit Miss Engine Beartrice Ne Windmill
Vintage Dempster Hit Miss Burr Grinder/Mill and stands around 22 inches tall without the funnel/hopper. I did not try turning anything so it may need some cleaning. The bottom base does not have any chips or cracks. Looks like it missing a latch/bolt that holds the cover which is shown in the 6th picture. The funnel/hopper is dented and does not have any weak spots in the metal. I will ship the items in different boxes and UPS Shipping shows it will be around $75 for each coast.

ANTIQUE VINTAGE CHAMPION 32 GAS ENGINE SPECIAL LONG REACH SPARK PLUG HIT MISS
Up for auction is this vintage Champion EXTRA LONG SPARK PLUG! This is a Champion 32 plug and the complete plug measures 4-3/16" long. From the bottom of the hex it measures 2-1/8" to the tip of the electrode. Plug takes a 15/16" hex wrench. I am not sure what it fits but was told it was old Hit n Miss or old maytags or may fit many old motors. The plug looks great and I am not sure it was ever used/ I would guess by looking in the bottom that it was not. Great Old usable and Collectable plug. Old Lunkenheimer Mockingbird 5 Inch Fire Alarm Steam Whistle Hit Miss Gas Engine
This is a pretty nice original and VERY hard to find Lunkenheimer 5 inch fire alarm steam whistle. They are made similar to a Mockingbird but are a bit different and were used on early fire engines back in the day. It seems to be in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is a rather large whistle and is about 26 inches long overall. It is marked with the Lunkenheimer name and has a 1892 patent date on the other side of the body. The slide moves freely. This whistle has 1 1/2 inch pipe threads. The dome is in great shape with only a few very minor dings. I believe this whistle could be plumbed up to steam or compressed air and used just the way it is. Both the slide and the valve have short cables attached to use it. These larger mockingbird whistles are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets ... moreand really turn some heads when they are polished up and displayed at the shows! The pictures tell the story on this one. They just don't get much nicer! Lima 10Kw Generator Alternator with Continental TM20 3 Cyl gas engine 10,000w
This is a Lima 10Kw generator i had used mounted on a trailer. That i am now selling as i dont have the time to fix it. The engine runs perfectly fine but the generator has stopped outputting power. It has two fuses inline for the voltage regulator, these kept blowing 5 amp fuses recently. I replaced both ice cube relays as it looked like they had some moisture in them but it did not fix the issue. I added a 10 amp fuse and it didnt blow but still no power output. The generator did smoke a little when using the 10 amp fuse for a few seconds so i am not sure if i burned up the voltage regulator or what. The engine runs great, starts right up, and from what i understand these Limas are very good units. Here us a video i took today right before i removed it from the trailer. I did disconnect the F- and F+ from the voltage regulator as someone ... moresuggested and tested continuity between the two and got 40ohms. And i tested between each and the frame i eventually got continuity but i was using an auto range finding meter which kept jumping all over the place from megaohms to ohms, to nothing so i am not sure how accurate it was. The engine/generator hour meter show 2909 hours. I have used it for 30 hours or so since i have owned it and it worked great. I dont know anything about generator repair though so i am just pulling the unit from the trailer it was mounted to and mounting a smaller generator in its place. I also broke a bolt in the generator rear mesh cover trying to remove it, apparently its not meant to be removed anyway. Here is the manual for the generator. Its a 250 frame, 12 lead i believe, single phase. Here is the brochure for the engine. The voltage regulator in it is a standard Basler APR 63-4 which is a part that can be found on ebay or any 63-4 regulator for about $130 if that was the case. I just dont have the time to mess with it and i dont really need a generator this large so i just replaced it which a cheaper generator to mount to the trailer.
