Here is what I believe is the remains of an antique 700A Clinton small gasoline engine that may have some salvageable parts including a good vintage gas engine muffler. This vintage engine is very rusty though crankshaft. Cam, valves, oil pump shaft and governor parts move freely. This is an Original Cast Iron Flat Belt pulley for The International Harvester IHC. Or McCormick Deering Type"M" Gas Engines. This Will Fit the 1 1/2 Hp Engines. It is For A 1 1/2" Crank shaft Part# 947 T This Has A Little spot of rust on one side of the pulley( as shown In the pics) with A small Amout of pitting. But Other than That It is A very nice Original 8" X 5 1/2" Pulley With NO Damage Or Repairs, Key way looks good, As are the threads for the set screw. I have had this pulley for quite Some time. Maytag Model 92 gas engine. Antique hit and Miss 2 cycle.
Description: Selling a Maytag model 92 in good. Un-restored condition. I bought this at an auction 15 years ago for my grandfather as he enjoys them. He is thinning his maytag flock a little now. Serial Number 563060 means it was made in May 1934. He had it running great about 5 years ago. Since I knew I would likely be shipping it. I did not want to fill the tank up with fuel. I squirted a little fuel in the carburetor throat and it fired easily. Here is a video of it running: Excuse the smoke. I mixed the oil a little heavy since it hadn't been started in a while. Condition: Missing air filter. But otherwise looks complete. I did notice the spark plug wire said Packard on it. Waterloo Boy 2 H.P. Type H Hit and Miss Gas Engine, John Deere Engine
Up for auction here is a 2 horse power Waterloo Boy hit and miss gas engine. This is known as the John Deere built Waterloo Boy and has the JD cast in the block. There are no cracks breaks or welds I can find anywhere on the engine. It is not locked up but I have not had it running. It will need a new fuel line. It has the Wizard magneto. Both the mag and igniter are good. The magneto has been rebuilt by Adrians's Magneto Service out of Lancaster. MN. at a cost of $212.00 I have the receipt for the mag rebuild which will be included. This engine also has a good drip oiler, belt pulley, and will come with a tin crank guard that bolts to the engine block. There are 2 nice brass tags that are very readable. Two Horizontal Steam Engine Cylnders With Flywheel and Misc. Parts
Up for auction is two horizontal steam engin cylinders with a flywheel and other misc. parts. I beleive all items were at one point a full steam engine in it's entirety and sure a skilled indvidual can put back together and make it whole again. The two cylinders appear to be in good condition which spin left and right smoothly. The cylinders are 8 inches long and about 2.5 inches high. The cylinders are about 3/4 inches across each. PICS shown are of LAST ENGINE sold. Currant engine is VERY SIMILAR! Guys been using these engines to power ICE CREAM MACHINES! neat muffler. Maytag running on YouTube, neat display! This is a special. Restored correctly Maytag, with RECHARGED MAGNETS! in the wheel for optimum spark. A lot of these engines get restored looking real nice, but this important step is overlooked, seeing access to a magnet recharger is just NOT available. What you end up with is a 70 year old weak spark that keeps the engine from running like it should. This one sparks LIKE NEW! so you'll be lucky to have it as one to own! In my opinion too the SHORT BASES look much better and are more desirable then the longer bases, they just look more balanced, so again a plus! The engine was gone completely through and redone right from an"ole timer" that has ... morea passion for restoring these Maytags. Engine is ready to go to a show or impress your friends or neighbors, what a conversation piece! These were mounted on the bottom of Maytag washing machines in the early to middle of the 19th century and used in rural America where a lot of people just didn't have electricity. Usually the lady of the house would have the job of kick starting this engine in order to wash the clothes. Because of the silver paint and no Army type numbers found on it. I think it's the earlier Trail Tractor rather than the"Clark Airborne" Dozer that the Army called it. Cylinder head casting number is CHC 30277 68-402D and a tag looking casting of 415 42(Date code? Casting# on timing cover is BE 805-J Casting number for the block is behind the carb and hard to see. But I t hink it's close to 68820 CWC. And behind the governor it looks like ALLOY ENG and some numbers. Last 3 are 202 You are welcome to have your shipper pick it up here.
